  1. Moving threads into the correct section also helps when someone does a search for something on that topic. It helps the search engine. If you stick around for a while you will see the advantages of having limited but strict locations to put threads.
  2. If he doesn't show, let me know and I'll get it signed for ya. I have a connection.
  3. I put two over 4lbs in the boat yesterday using a Magic Swimmer. They are awesome.
  4. Perhaps you are missing something. This section was put here for one main purpose. It is a place for the members to post their resume. Doing this leaves that resume open for critique and criticism. If you can't take it, then don't post it. It's as simple as that. Tin is not attacking you he is only pointing out the flaws in your little resume. Yes sponsors may see it here but I have yet to see anyone get a sponsorship from posting their resume in this section.
  5. I'd have to agree with this. Education is very important. You are applying for a job in which you will represent their company and you better be ready to work for what you get. If you give them a resume that is full of spelling errors then you will probably be overlooked. It isn't easy getting sponsored and it's even harder to make that sponsorship work for you. If this kind of criticism bothers you that much them maybe you aren't ready to be put under a microscope by your potential sponsor. Take a look at the many threads here in the Resume section and then decide if you are ready for a sponsorship.
  6. A bass is a bass. The only thing that might change the choice of technique is the environment that the bass lives in. With different water clarity, bottom structure, cover, water type, water temp, types of food, time of year, and especially the confidence level of the guy holding the rod makes the possibilities of different essential techniques endless. Pick three techniques and learn them inside and out. If you are looking for suggestions then go with the three that you are most interested in.
  7. Woo introduced me to them to and I've been using them for 5 or 6 years now. There is nothing better.
  8. What action rod are you useing for your light jigs?
  9. Bullet weights Worm hooks 3/0 and 4/0 Swivels beads
  10. There are many worms that work weightless. My favorite is a Zoom Trick worm. Others are the Senko, Finesse worm, and the Super Fluke. Fish seem to like a straight tail worm with little action when fished weightless. In Gin Clear water I usually fish colors that I can see through.
  11. I don't have a favorite but I sure like the one hanging out of the mouth of a fish.
  12. I've never seen were it says mix and match. You get a discount at 50 and then a better discount at 100. You can't beat the prices.
  13. What I have always been told by the owner of Buckeye is that it is Living Rubber. But it is hard to find on the open market. I've seen it on E-bay a few times but it always goes for top dollar. I fish with Mop Jigs almost exclusivly and they are awesome jigs.
  14. What's the water temp? What's the visibility of the water?
  15. Spot Remover with a finesse worm.
  16. Welcome David, I split this post from the other thread so it would allow the other members a better chance to get to know who you are. Thanks for being here.
