  1. Around here when someone says they are common law married that only means they are too closely related to get a marriage license.
  2. You should have finished the weekend and then invited her to go fishing with you. Of course she would have then turned you down and given you her blessing.
  3. Welcome to the family. You will find considerably less arguing around here and allot more respect.
  4. You put fishing and anniversary in the same paragraph.
  5. Snowbass23 is dead on. Do exactly what he said. The only thing I would add is instead of using brush piles, use some artificial fish attractors that will allow the small fish to hide and the big fish can't get into. Some of the best ones I have seen used are the plastic crates that they use to transport chickens. Get a couple dozen of them and put them close to your feeder. If you cant find them use milk crates but close off the open end. As for feed check out what Purina has to offer in fish food. A great website to check out is www.pondboss.com. Their forums are all about pond management and most of the guys on there have small ponds and have probably had the same problem you have.
  6. Green Pumpkin Finesse worms 1/8oz Spot Removers That's about it. Unless you want to talk dropshot.
  7. Between the two... That's a tough choice. If the fish want it loud I would go with the Rage Tail. If I need to make long casts I would go with the Rage Tail........ I guess it's not a tough choice after all. :
  8. When pro baseball players are in a slump they grab the batting tee and start all over. They go back to the basics of a swing and start from there. They spend time rebuilding their swing. Fortunately for us we have a batting tee right here. They are the articles in the Beginners section? I read them at the beginning of every year. They always help me get back to the basics and focus on where to start. So start reading those articles and you will begin to see a big improvement.
  9. Congratulations to all of you.
  10. How about three. This is Triton Mike useing a Bama Rig back when he was skinny. lol
  11. That's just awesome Al. Welcome home for a little while. I'm glad your back with us.
  12. If someone is caught cheating around here the results are very bad. He might as well just sell his house and move to another area. He wouldn't be welcomed into the tackle shops. He would loose most of his friends and he better not try to fish another tournament within 200 miles because people will know who his is and stop him from entering. That's usually enough deterrent for most people.
  13. I might opt for a wider boat. I was waiting for you to get wet.
  14. Welcome to the family.
  15. If they had tried that around here they wouldn't have made it out the door without being clocked by some redneck shopper. >
  16. Is this through your PM or you regular email?

  18. What part of Atlanta? Are you fishing out of a full sized bass rig or an electric jon boat? Are you looking for a Club that fishes several of the lakes in the state or just one?
  19. There is a huge difference in the products out there. Here is a post I made several month ago about this subject. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1205107829
  20. I fish two to four times a week and stay as long as I can.
  21. Glenn and I were interviewing Skeet at the Classic when they handed him that reel for the first time. It's a pretty cool reel.
  22. Start with mono or co-polly for everthing and then as you gain confidence in the techniques you will find a need to chang types of line. For topwater use a line that floats. I use eather co-polly or braid. I prefer braid because the topwater action on my lake requires a very long cast and braid helps me get a better hookset. For crankbaits you want a line with alot of stretch. Mono or co-poly work best for this. For plastic worms you want a low visability line like flourocarbon but mono and co-poly will work fine to start with.
  23. The cheepest way to get it there is to ship it to the hotel you will be staying.
