soft swimbait storage
Nope!! Out of all my baits, that would be one of the last I would sell if I were to sell all of my baits. It's worth every one of the 20000 pennies I spent on it BTW, I've seen the way 4bizz hangs his baits and it is sweet!!! That way you can see what you have (Benificial if you have lots of baits) and can pick and choose what you want to bring.

Poor eyesight, need some suggestions for knots
+1. I can tie this one while night fishing without a light. It's easy once you learn it.

soft swimbait storage
Here is how I store my swimbaits... it's nothing special. Just use them often, but when you aren't using them make sure they don't get hot. This is how I do it and NONE of my baits have ever got tweaked to where they don't swim right.

Retirement
Well being that I'm only 23 I have a ways to go. But I started putting into a 401K at the at of 18 with my first job. While I no longer work for that company (Target) the money is still sitting there and doing whatever it does. With my current company I am also investing in a 401K. But this company matches your contributions 100% up to 3% that you put in. anything above 3% they match 25% of every 1%. So I put in 5% of my paycheck every week and they match it with 3.5%. They also give us a vary generous Pension Plan as well. While I'm not knowledgeable in the details these two areas, i do know that I have been able to save quite a bit over the past year. If I stick with this company for the rest of my working career I think I'll be "alright" when it comes to retiring. As far as after retirement. Alaska here I come!! ;D

cash for clunker
Please re read my post and tell me where I state "Rant=Your opinion". I simply asked that you realize I am toe to toe with you on one of your points but disagree with another (Debating right?? :). It's simple as that... don't take it personal, we all value our own opinions. My disagreement was centered around your broad argument that everybody cashing in on this program deserved it the least and that they didn't give a crap about being fuel conscious vehicles in the first place so why should they reap the rewards. Your argument was stereotyping every user of this program into the above mentioned categories when there ARE people who "deserve" this and are using this program as it was designed. I never asked for someone else to do so. But I have a vehicle that fits the criteria of a program that the GOVERNMENT (Not me) created, I am a poor college student living on my own and pay for everything... wouldn't you reap the rewards if they laid this program out for you. It's a no brainer. Don't I give John Doe money every week out of my paycheck so he can sit at home and be a low life. Don't I give Mary Jane money every week so she can work on rebuilding her life and starting a new future. Why can't I take my truck (Which I'm not going to do) and get a more reliable vehicle with better emissions (GO GREEN SAVE THE PLANET :), gas mileage etc. It's like the circle of life. People benefit off of you and I every week. It's the way of the world, there is no stopping it. Brandon

cash for clunker
Let me start off by saying I agree with your "taxpayer" argument. But as with just about EVERY program like this, there are always people that weren't targeted to get the benefits, but end up getting them But...You need to look into it more. Not everybody that is taking part in this program drives big trucks, suvs, vans. I have been debating on taking part in this program. I have a 1988 4 cylinder nissan pickup truck 4X4. The thing is old, gets 10-12 mpg and is a clunker (I.E. "CASH FOR CLUNKERS!!!) Tell me why I deserve it the least, because I'm willing to retire a truck that is far past it's prime to reap the rewards of a better MPG vehicle. You need to step outside the box for a minute. And before you try to go off on a rant about my post, I see where you are coming from about the taxpayers money. But dude, look around all these programs take money from the taxpayers wallet. Yes it's sad and sucks, but it the way the govt. runs. I just don't agree with your stereotyping of people who are using this program as it was designed. Brandon

plano 3730??
12" Osprey Talon Inline. Weights 10oz. There is a lake i've been fishing where the big girls are starting to get anxious for some good grub. Hudds haven't been getting any attention, so I've been throwing the big guns. BA Armageddon, 10" 2X4, 12" Osprey, etc. Haven't got any on the Osprey yet, but have had a couple good followers . The tail kick on it it pretty intense, so it really sets the fish off. Actually right now... NO!!! Don't have a truck anymore to pull my boat, so I've been trying the swimbait from shore thing. Let's just say I'm looking HARD to find a new truck. It's like going from Fillet Mignon to a london broil. :-[ . That's the name of the game right!

G Loomis Pricing increase
You would think that's the case, but ironically just the opposite is true (for them). But we'll see if that changes now that they've spent the last year retraining all their rod builders. You might say that being as Shimano® owns the company....... You can NEVER escape the Shimano Posse ;D
-
If you could, WHERE?
DANG, that would be Kool as a moose! You, me & Greenwood Lake would never be the same ROLO Well, I'm sure the lake would stay the same... But you and muddy, well that would be a whole different story :

Your most unusual catch...and what bait did you catch it on?
I caught a frog.... on a frog once :-/ Had a trip with 2 buddies where we didn't catch any fish, but one buddy caught a jar of powerbait, one caught a 5 iron, and I caught a mussel of some sort ;D
-
Well, that was embarrassing
Hahaha... well it happens to the best of us. I did it with my float tube once. Thing was there was no boats on the lake so I had to go for a swim. You live and you learn right?? 8-)
