I think I just filled the cup....
That's the thing that has always kept me from 1 single remote, there seems to always been 1 feature that the aftermarket remote doesn't have. Maybe one day. :'(

Need help finding an old ZOOM color
They may not make it anymore. 5 or 6 years ago it was a special run color. I figure there must be some bags hanging around somewhere. The best way to describe the color is that it's just a little lighter than the Lakers purple uniforms and has no flake. I WAS going to look for you, but since you related it to "Lakers" colors' I will no longer look...

The one that got away....
Don't forget about that double you lost on your bait because of me :. Remember... I wasn't there to net it ;D

Well it depends on your price range. Some great baits under the $20 range include - *Mattlures Bluegill *6" huddleston *3:16 Mission Fish *3:16 Mighty Minnow If price really isn't an option but your looking for baits in the smaller size: * Mattlures Hard Gill *3:16 Baby Wake * M.S Slammer * Triple Trout * JSJ Baits These baits are just the tip of the iceberg... but most baits I listed don't necessarily need a special swimbait rod/reel. They can be thrown on a Heavy rod or even a flipping stick.

The one that got away....
Lets hear your stories about that one instance where you wish you could pull out your mulligan card and do-over. Mine happended this year and it still feels like an opened wound. I know I shouldn't dwell on it, but it still plays over in slow motion in my mind and haunts me :'( Here's mine: About a month ago fourbizz and I both took our dads into this tiny remote lake that is known for football brookies and good size Lahonton Cutthroat trout. We were float tubing and within the first hour both dads had caught their first LHC and we had lost just as many as we had caught. After finding the apparent "HotSpot" where fish were stacked, I was talking to some guys on the shore that were asking about what I was using and WHAM, fish on. Both the brookies and LHC's have their own "fighting styles" and right away I could tell this was a BIG LHC. It was pulling line like it wasn't even hooked. It wasn't shaking and thrashing, it was actually pulling me in my float tube around the lake and in circles. After about 5 minutes of me getting dragged around and a slight "Audience" growing on the shore, it appeared that the fish was getting a little tired and I was able to gain some distance on it. Finally I was able to see the fish and it was BIG... a definite new PB LHC. Soon as it saw me it flipped out and started turning me in circles. I was holding on for dear life, and I knew I needed to net this fish ASAP. On a side note, my net was purchased just for this lake and it's long and big fish. After the first trip I took to this lake, it was apparent that these fish did not fit in a normal backpacking net. So I purchased a net that measure 21" in length, 8.5in wide, and is 10in deep. The net itself is coated to ensure safety of the slim coat. I've netted many fish up to 20" with this net and NEVER had an issue. This net was made for big fish... or so I thought :-[ With that said, I finally got a small window of opportunity to net the fish. It was now or never. I did my normal routine of dipping the net into the water and "guiding" the fish headfirst into the net. I was able to get it's head into the net... this is when I noticed how gigantic this fish actually was. The fish's head was at the bottom of one end of the net, and even with a 21" net, the fish still had a good 6 inches of tail sticking out of the other end. . I couldn't believe my eyes. While I was in aww of my "new PB" the fish started to roll and managed to free itself of the hook and eventually rolled out of my net and into the lake. :'( . I couldn't believe it.... I have never threw such a Bit@1 fit before. I went to kicked to the shore, slept, ate, fished for another 4 hours without a bite and finally called it a day. If it weren't' for my dad catching his first LHC and seeing his eyes light up, it would have been a HORRIBLE trip. Looking back on that fish, I beleive I rushed the netting process a bit. I don't think it was ready to quit fighting. Not only was this fish long, but was built like a tank. Could have easily been a 6#+ fish. Oh well, I'll be back there this fall to catch here again. This time i'm bringing my bass net ;D

4" tru tungsten VS. BBZ 4"
I know some guys have some luck with TT. I have a buddy that rigged it so he could dropshot it. He stuck some good fish with it, but the bait just doesn't feel right. It just feels cheap. IMHO, there are WAY better baits out there for $20. I wouldn't waste my money on these baits. But if came down to picking one of these two baits, or death, I would probably choose the BBZ. It's a little bigger profile and it doesn't look "as much" like a little kids toy. I would look into something different though. You can get 6" huds for $15. And the whole "Fish don't get big enough to eat an 8" hudd in my lake" myth is such a joke. I've had 2 1/2 to 3# fish swallow a hudd. I'm pretty sure your 3# fish are just like our 3# fish, they WILL and CAN eat an 8" bait. Fishing a 8" bait will just cut down on the "Dinkage" factor when fishing ;D.

COD WAW for Playstation 3
X2. Its insane how many Halo junkies there are. I don't know why y'all think COD4 is better than COD WaW. LOL, you can tell who plays HALO when your playing COD... they don't stop jumping everywhere ;D Haha, I know! They zig-zag around and throw grenades every 3 seconds too! I've noticed most of them only play defense though... by the time there done zigzagging and jumping up and down like their high on speed, I've already shanked them ;D

COD WAW for Playstation 3
Get that playstation cr@$ out of here.... lol. Can't help on your question, but I've always been a DIEHARD PS fan.. But I CANNOT see the justification of their price tag when you can get the 360 for $200. I've played the PS3 but just can't pull the trigger on one. I use my roomates 360, but if I were to buy a next gen right now, I would have to go with the 360. Sony REALLY needs to bring the price tag down. They have always been on the top, but I think I heard even the Wii was ahead of them in sales.... Rant over!! ;D

P-Line CXX Memory
BINGO! I use TONS of line on my swimbait rods (20#-30#) While I DO notice a big difference with the use of KVD, it only holds it's "Limpness" for one trip. I usually re apply it the night before my trips and respool every three trips or so. When it comes to $100+ swimbaits... I don't take any chances.

Is fishing relaxing (semantics debate)?
For me it depends on the situation. Any sort of Trout fishing = YES Bass fishing.. well that's a different story. I REALLY have been enjoying trips by myself this year. I don't' have to worry about back boating, I can cast where I want, go where I want, do what I want. I don't have to worry about the other people catching fish or not (I feel bad when I take people out and they don't catch anything). It's very relaxing for me. For some reason though, my trips haven't been that relaxing with some buddies of mine. It seems like the trips become high strung and there is lots of tension. We become so focused on catching fish it is overwhelming. This year I'm more focused on enjoying myself due to the poor fishing for me.

What should we do to Cart for the dirty trick he pulled.
I love the filters here. I can call you a &*!@#&$*(!@)~ or a $#&*#!(~ , you will never what I called you. Yet it lets me get of my chest what I really feel about you!! ;D I vote to change the fish type from a Carp to an Blow Fish.... Then give him 20 lashes with that. I don't know what he did but...

Dinks?? That was nice of CJ to let you hold his fish. LOL... I was going to say the same. The problem with the West coast is the majority of members are east coast. The biggest set back is finding places for 50+ boat hook-ups with rooms and accommodations for fisherman and speaking venue. Konocti Resort AND Casino, Clear Lake California!!!

SoCal Spinnerbaits
Besides the tourney guys, I don't know anybody that throws spinnerbaits regularly. Not to say nobody throws them, but So-Cal is the so called "Swimbait Country". I only own one spinnerbait (Actually Found it), have only thrown it twice, caught one fish on it, and I will probably never throw it again. But with that said, there is NO reason they shouldn't work given the right scenario. There is only one way to find out... GO THROW THEM!!!
