  1. I'm looking at another site and I guess there is a formula to find the horse power of an electric motor. This is not my work but it makes some sense. I don't think the formula is right though if this motor is a 46 and says 2.8 hp. Volts times Amps equals Watts Divide by 746 equals Horsepower But another site says it is not possible because one is measured in a Watt, the other is measured in Newtons. :-? :-? :-?
  2. Funny, I have a old 46 pound thrust Minn Kota on it and it says 2.8 horsepower. So how does that work if there is no direct correlation?

  7. As mentioned before not Fluoro because it sinks and I wouldn't use braid because of the no stretch factor on a treble hooked bait. So that only leaves mono.

  9. The two lakes a fish often, about $10 in gas and $10 to launch. Others, about $15-20 in just gas.
  10. But they beat UNC State by 20 earlier in the year and beat UNC by 11 last time, that was also at UNC's home court. So 15 is very possible.
  11. Skunked? Your Carrot's got a little warm up with those snagged sunnies on the trap lol.
  12. 45 minutes ago it was foggy, could not even see the end of the driveway 300' away and was 41*. Right now it is howling and 54*.
  13. They didn't last year either.
  14. Well because of the weather and the crazy week I'm staying in tonight and watching some basketball. What's the score going to be and who will win? I'm thinking 73-68 Duke
  15. Keep it simple when it comes to baits and presentations. But when it comes to patterns, analyze, analyze, analyze.

I liked Hookem better when he was known as West "By God" Virginia. ;D
  17. O good, you used one. I can't wait see your review on these rods. Or did you go against your word on that post a few months ago about not commenting on things you have no experience with??? :-/
  18. No no no Matt, you need one season where the temp ranges from 50-60 degrees so there is a good lipless crank and jerkbait bite. Plus, that weather is a little warm for smallies

  20. Loved my Crawdacious We made flipping decks and everything on it. OOOOO I miss it. :'(
  21. I have the same boat as you, and two things that make a huge difference are a bigger trolling motor and a drift sock. I ripped thew 37 pound thrust off as soon as I got it and went up to 65, now I want a 101. Even in the big windy bowls we have up here, I can go anywhere and not worry.

Both glow- in the dark jitterbugs that are 5/8 oz. came off ebay. You can find some really crazy ones over there.
  23. The shorter grip takes a while to get used to, I'm beginning to really like it though. As for Mr. Whiting and his response.... > :-X
  24. I like that back-pack but the name on it goes against my posse. :-/ I need one though...
  25. This is for those times where we up here would say it is 25* and snowing and you would give us a weather report of 65* and sunny.
