  1. I use my medium action casting rod for cranks, traps, light spinnerbaits, big inline spinners for coldwater bass, and finesse pitching. As for my medium action spinning rods, they get the nod when I'm throwing a stickbait, shakey head, tube, or light (3/16, or lighter) texas rigged baits.
  2. Ok, my dad and I are still knew to it but have been reading up and practicing it. I just got my finesse worm molds and want to start making laminate colors, specifically a black and blue. How do you guys do it? Also, how do you make a swirl? I'm a little stumped here :-?

Well I think that is the hardest part. Next time only take jigs and trailers, force yourself to do it. WARNING: Once you get a few more it is the only bait you will want to fish.
  4. Awsome, cant wait to break in my Mattlures, only 3 more months :

1/4 ounce straight black jig or a 4" Zoom Fat Albert Grub Texas tigged with a 3/16 oz bullet also like to dip the bottom 1/2 inch in chart. Spike-It. Can't wait to try out those Mattlure BlueGill's, they nose dive perfectly.
  6. One of everything in each color
  7. Despite the snow Farve went 18/23 with 3 TD's. Hopefully he can win his first game in Dallas next week.
  8. 7' Medium Action Croix Avid or 6'6" Medium action All-Star
  9. Bass spitting out the bait or craws, pinchers sticking out of there throat or the tail of a fish. Also you can usually tell by the feel of the fishes stomach.
  10. Throw out a net or trap.
  11. High speed reel and a longer rod.
  12. Definatley go to another MH for the jig, worms, and t-rigs. Medium action rods can be used to do just about anything.
  13. He wasnt bad as a head coach, with the Pats he was 10-6 the first year and won the division. The next year they made the play-offs at 9-7, and his last year they were .500. And those were Drew Bledsoe days : But he has it made with USC, plus they have great chances to win a national title next year.
  14. I dont know about the 2nd and 3rd, but the first is on a sexy shad
  15. Whats a net? I thought you were just supposed to flip them in, or if they are a little too big, lip them.

In super cold water I'm always fishing a 1/4 oz jig. It is just a great bait you can fish anytime and where. This time of year with the jig, it is all about location location location. I won a tournament last year with 42 degree water temps on a jig. And the guys who finished 2nd and 3rd were also fishing jigs. If you can fish a texas rig you can fish a jig. And it will contend with the worm if not out fish the worm imo.
  17. Half of Sportscenter this morning was about the Dolphins and Tony Sparano, and Carrol possibly going to the Falcons. He met with certain members of the Falcons organization but was never officially offered the job. They also said their sources said he wouldn't take it if offered.
  18. In a local newspaper there was an article about how the amount of work for home builders is way down because of the flood of foreclosed homes on the market. So I'm guessing, not too many new houses being built=no land cleared=not as much wood. And more and more people are having woodstoves and fire places installed instead of paying well over $3 a gallon for home heating oil. So more and more people need wood. Maybe a supply and demand issue :-?
  19. In my opinion, bad idea, very bad idea. Don't do it, not only will it probably be a headache, but also very EXPENSIVE. Between shipping it, fixing it up, and all the time and energy, just keep checking the paper, craigslist.com, and other sources. Do yourself a favor and stay local.
  20. All I could think of was Milton from Office Space. ;D
  21. Lol, I think they are usually in the winter/letharagic stage.
  22. The Plastic Pourer's from RI have finesse worm molds and Paca Craw molds on the way 8-) Be posting pics soon.
  23. Thought someone was acctually going to quit bass fishing when I read the title of the thread. Mine is no secret, Inner Mallets Bay, Champlain, VT.
