  1. X2, Tritons are amazing boats though
  2. Tin replied to otto's topic in Fishing Tackle
I cant wait to be a participant in that study
  3. Have you tried different sections of the creek? In the few rivers around here the smallies will move from pool to pool depending on their seasonal patterns and temperatures. And since you have not been fishing there in a while they could have moved on you. I have had it happened to me a few times. One day you whack 15 or 20 2-3 pound smallies, next day they are gone. I think you are just gonna have to figure out which section of that creek they are in.
  4. Are you fishing from shore or in a boat?
  5. It keeps us away, so their lips must stay intact >
  6. I'm thinking of just screwing the paca craw or beaver in and buring the hook into the bait, so I really dont need a weed guard. See any issues with it. If I'm using braid i would just upgrade to the magnum heads.
  7. It is going to be the same as when the senko hit big. I'm sure Yum and Bass Pro shops already has prototypes.. :
  8. Mattm sent me one of those Matt lures bluegills in the Christmas exchange and I'am still amazed. Cant fish it for another few months, but I'm sure my collection will be close to a dozen by then.
  9. Well instead of buying the spot remover skirted finesse jigs at $4 and $5 a pop. I'm thinking of just taking the Pro Heads ( w/ the screw) and tying a skirt inbetween the eye and the screw. Has anyone tried this? I figure since and skirt is cheap and the heads are about a buck a piece, why not. Save a lot of $$$$$. :-?
  10. Like "The Monkey Abides" quote bizz. ;D Things could always be worse dude.
  11. agreed x3, lol.
  12. The LPGA tour?
  13. Candlewood is right up there with the big name lakes when it comes to smallies. Seen tournaments won there 8 fish limit=35+ pounds of smallies.
  14. The issue here is age. Most sponsors do not want to enter into a contract with a minor. In all brutal honesty, a sponsor won't usually consider a youth till they make it to the JWC's. This is the route I would take if I were you... but be prepared to have your parents handle the details and contracts. Yup, because JWC's equal publicity and LOTS of it. Some companies are even having an age limit. I talked to guys from the whole Booyah/Bomber comapny a few years back and they wont sign anyone till they are 21.
  15. Tubes, flukes, and spinnerbaits.
  16. They always have in years past, I dont know why they do. They should just fish the tourney there instead of Wheeler, most of the guys head to G-Ville anyway. But either way it is worth checking out, FLW puts on a great show.
  17. Then what else would you like to call that little voice that tells you to buy things? The bait bizzle?
  18. I just cant wait for March Madness to get here, great basketball and it means the ice is gone
  19. Fat guy little coat
  20. The Bruins are the only New England sports team worth watching, all the others, you know the out come before the game has even started
  21. Please don't send me to my room again Sir.
  22. Revo, or hate to say it, PT. Spinning, go with the Symetre, shimano makes great spinning reels. All else fails, flip a coin.
  23. No more hits, great stand up design though. but like you said easy to hang up. I think the brushguard is a little softer than your usuall jig. Could just be me though :-?
  24. Airrus rods action are like that of Carrot Stix. So they are stiffer than you would think. A medium heavy action on an Airrus is like a Heavy action Croix or Loomis imo.
  25. Ya, I'm sure they will be for sale at the Classic, I'll have to stock up and give them a shot.
