  1. He seems to get into little "funks" that really mess him up. Bmadd and I were talking and if you watch the "playoff" t's, when he is flipping he is hardly setting a hook and can't keep fish buttoned up or he is missing them completely. It was like he had got into the groove of setting a hook with a treble hooked bait and couldn't get out of it. The same thing seemed to happen on Pickwick. It is like he cannot switch gears when he needs to.
  2. I figured we could start a funny picture thread as well...

  6. lol Pretty big ol' mouth to fit a grenade in it......... Well..... she is a blonde :-X Hey! Your mom is a very nice lady!
  7. Just do what most other people do, get 8, max them out, then make the minimum payments. You will be fine. Seriously, use it a bit and pay off most of it every month. Just not using it will do nothing for your credit.
  8. For being such a drama queen and helping overshadow A-Roid's 600th long ball. ;D
  9. I go for the smallest and most compact bait I can find with a rattle. So it is usually a small jig with a flippin hook and a bead with bullet weight above it. I punch by flipping it as high in the hair as I can and let gravity do the rest. But where ever I can get away with a Brushhog or creature I go for it. I also let the fish tell me. If I'm getting short strikes or the jig is coming back with a craw missing I will go to a lighter or heavier jig. Typically in cold water I go lighter and in warm I go heavier.
  10. This is why I'm pretty much done with tourney fishing for a couple years. People putting fish in lobster cars in practice then going back for them in the tourney and all sorts of stupid stuff. The worst part is that I have fished 5 tournaments this year and won 2 of them but I have no desire to try to compete with people who bend the rules and do what they want to give themselves an advantage. Ethics do not exist in my state.
  11. For half a 750 of Captain 100 at 1am, I'm proud of myself, lol. Took them down. Sorry for being an a-hole.
  12. It's sad what rod companies are producing and charging these days...

  14. So sorry to hear that Dan I went through this last year when my grandmother died of Lung Cancer, it was an awful thing to see. Let me know if you need anything, same goes for you John.
  15. It's why you should start training and prepare months in advance. Our coach would just bring out the garbage cans for us to puke in. You guys can complain about heat all you want, try an ice rink that is 20* and its 4am, you have practice until 7am, go to school, then a 3 hour practice after school.
  16. Good to see your still alive. Thought you had fallen prey to another spider No I'm around. Just on a couple of other forums and working on some other things. I still have your #, don't worry.
  17. It would not be an adventure without something happening...(truck frame cracking, slicing foot open, no lights/livewell, ect ect..) LOL Good to see you're still around Paul.
  18. I love Lake George. And a 5-6 pound fish like that is a trophy for that place. It is loaded with those 1-2 pound rats.
  19. I had a sweet deal with St.Croix and Lunker Lure when I was 14. It's possible
  20. Oh come on Justin, I know you're good enough to find your own... :-X
  21. I agree, with the exception of technology I would say between the ages of 18 and 24 most people were in that mind state. It sounds like something all older generations label younger generations as being, but in truth it is just a stage.
  22. Whatever it takes to win. I just go for 5 big fish.
  23. The windier the better on most lakes up here. Nothing like three and four footers on Champlain. You need a chiropractor after a ride in 6's though.
