Rage Tail. Epic Fail.
The Space Monkey is the most productive bait I've ever used. It casts as well as any plastic its size. It swims at the right depth for my favorite areas and conditions. It has a sweet 3D movement - the legs kick up and down and it has a subtle side to side motion at the hips. It hasn't produced my personal best. That honor goes to the lowly pre-rigged Creme Worm and Culprit Worm. But I'll give it time. For me, the Space Monkey consistently produces many, and big, bass.

You lose your boat over the border, your insurance isn't going to cover it. Keep that in mind.

Tx Bass Fisherman Outruns Pirates-Watch Video
We don't have narco-bandits in Virginia, but I go armed nonetheless. I usually carry my stainless .357 and with several speed loaders nearby. If I fished Falcon Lake, I'd carry an AR with several 30 round magazines.

Sweet JDM Revos
Japan scores again. Sure would be nice to get some of these in the US for those of us that fish a lot of brackish water. http://www.purefishing.jp/products/abugarcia/saltystage_revo_lj1.html http://www.purefishing.jp/products/abugarcia/saltystage_revo_lj3.html http://www.purefishing.jp/products/abugarcia/revo_elite_ib.html http://www.purefishing.jp/products/abugarcia/revo_elitepowercrank.html http://www.purefishing.jp/products/abugarcia/saltystage_revo_bj.html

revo durability
I've fished Revos since they were introduced and have never had any problems. Sold reels. In facts, I think I'm going to pick up a couple of new Revo SXs today.

Abu Garcia Vendetta rods -- a great rod for reasonable price
Encouraging report. I've been eyeing these rods hard to replace a couple of well used All Stars I have.

its about to get personal
Let me ask you this: Say you were completely in love with this girl. You've been with her for 9 years. She bore 3 children for you. You provided a good, safe, loving home. You wanted to marry her. You thought all was going well then you discovered the spectre of another man wooing the woman you love. Would you be okay with that? I suspect you would be devastated. I haven't been on this board much at all as of late. That's because I need to take time to get my own house in order. And take time to take care of what is most important to me (and it ain't bass fishing). My advice is to look for whatever it was in your girlfriend that made you stay with her for 9 years. And whatever it was that made you have 3 children with her. I guarantee you it's still there. I got married at 24. I've got 2 sons. In August, I will have been married 20 years. I'm looking forward to 50 more. We're not as passionate as often as we used to be, but after that many years the flame dies down to a warm glow (with occassional flareups). It takes a good woman to get to that point and it sounds like you have the makings of one. I think you should put that other woman in her proper place - the acquaintance zone. And put that girlfriend of your where she belongs - on an altar.

Do yourself a favor and.....
Sandra Bullock with blonde hair. She is hot.

Daiwa Sol
The Sol will handle that. It excels with light baits. But it has plenty of power and is certainly robust enough to handle that type of fishing.

Identify this Snake
Definitely a Corn Snake. Very popular in the pet trade. Totally harmless to people. Master mice and rat killers. Please don't kill snakes.

LuckyinKentucky, I'm saving his name!!!! Got my package today!!!
LuckyInKentucky. Now there's a blast from the past! Wonder what he is claiming his current profession to be. Last time he was here he was claiming to be a state biologist or something. On another forum he claimed to be some kind of Toyota mechanic. On yet another, and this is my favorite, he claimed to be a Marine sniper and called out Rich Lucibella (who publishes SWAT Magazine) to a shooting match. Rich put him in his place. Here is some interesting, and fun reading. (And yes, its the same guy) http://thefiringline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=165988 More Lucky fun. http://208.67.249.138/forums/showthread.php?t=166079

South Park 201
Due to contractual agreements, Parker and Stone aren't even allowed to stream the uncensored version on their own website. I thought the episode was brilliant, anyways. When they sucked the juice out of mohammed and Tom Cruise became "Censored," well ;D ;D ;D

Northern Virginia Fishing
What you aren't considering is BigBass is nine feet tall. Of course the fish look small. The other thing is Virginia bass are denser, thus heavier for size. Like the 7lber in my avatar.

Caution: Schumacher Speed Charger
I'm not knocking Schumacher. Tehy make good products. Just the Speed Charger doesn't appear to handle Deep-Cycles well, despite what's written on the box and manual.

Caution: Schumacher Speed Charger
I was looking for a portable 120V charger to replace my cheap Vector which has a fan that usually doesn't work, and when it does sounds like a Mack truck. So I bought a $113 Schumacher Speed Charger that bills itself as deep-cycle capable. I hooked it up to a couple of deep-cycles I knew had been seriously disharged. In 15 minutes it told me they were 100% charged. I hooked my Vector up to the same batteries and found they were not fully charged, but still serious discharged. I figured there was something wrong with the Schumacher so I took it back and got another. Again, it told me the batteries were charged 100% in about 15 minutes. So I took that one back and got my money back. My Vector is old and rumbly, but it puts a full charge on my batteries. I was pretty disappointed in the Schumacher. Not sure why this charger wouldn't charge my deep cycles. The manual and box clearly states it will. If you buy an electronic Schumacher, be cautious whether or not your batteries really are fully charged.

Clash of the Titans review
I saw it today with my son. Frankly, I liked the original better. The orginal was, well, more original. Not to get off subject, but a few weeks ago we saw How to Train Your Dragon in IMAX 3D. Friggin's awesome movie. Not only was is actually funny, it was pretty to look at with great 3D effect. Best animated movie I've seen in a long, long time.

Florida: What's up with all the Tilapia?
Here is a pic of a tilapia. These beds were in every pond I checked out. And these aquarium cleaners were everywhere, too. They were right up next to shore. When you walk up they swim away and when you walk back then come back. Some of these were pretty big and looked like they went a few pounds.

Florida: What's up with all the Tilapia?
I've been in Florida for a week and every pond I checked out are full of Tilapia. Just beds as far as the eye can see. I saw an alligator in Lakeland eating a big tilapia. Do people fish for these? I know they are good eating. But what about sport? Are they displacing bass? Jimminy Crickets, I've never seen so many Tilapia.

Matzuo hooks
I don't like Matzuo lures, but their hooks are as good as Gamakatsus.
