  1. WHAT? Man i am a senko s1ut! Ask Nuclearpenguin what i fished at dripping springs last year for all 4 days, and yes i caught a ton of fish. The biggest waste of money that i have spent on bait has to be these topwater dancer type bait that i bought at bps. Its supposed to be a topwater and the worm or w/e u put on behind has a swim action to it.... needless to say they don't work. Funny thing about the banjo minnows, i saw them the other day at gander mountain. I stopped and laughed
  2. I knew u guys would put ur game faces on with that comment, I'm ready to catch some big ones
  3. its the midas rod and midas gold reel... im thinking about getting it this saturday, there both the top end for the browning line
  4. Lets do it because i already have it all setup for me to be there, i haven't fishing it in years. This will seperate the men from the boys
  5. What do you guys think of the bps xps hard stuff? There stuff is going to be 30% of starting friday and im going to be there, I have a couple of rogues, but i need to expand my collection. Seeing how i tend to be a plastics guy, and when im not catching fish my brother is killing them with his crankbaits.
  6. ya jay, i know u don't do anything in college, so what does bone look like?
  7. Ok sounds like there are a couple people not coming but who is willing and wanting to come?
  8. Thats what i was thinking, but u also have a bunch of tourney guys that are busy the rest of the year, im fine with this because i already have it al planned out to be there
  9. I know we already have a thread for it, but I'm just trying to get an idea of who is going to be there or not. If you are coming say so, and what you are bringing for food afterwards. One more thing, what time do you guys want to launch?
  10. Well I love ike's stone jigs, i bought a ton a couple of years ago at bps after they had discontinued it, I probably have about 75 of them, thats how much i love them
  11. ya, well i had money in my pocket, bought a fenwick rod for 59 percent off, and got some real good deals on a bunch of plastics
  12. I know me and nuclearpenguin will be there, I can bring some plates and pop of some type
  13. ya only if isaacs on the boat
  14. I've never done real well at cold weather tournaments or cold weather period. Hopefully rays777 knows what he's doin, so i might be able to catch some fish.
  15. I'll be there with nuclear penguin, and thanks to ray777 I have a boater. See you guys in march
  16. whats that a longer deck???? I've always wanted one of those, hopefully this weekend the motor will be running, and if we need to extend the deck on it we can. Right now the only thing im really worried about is getting the wiring hooked up. Tracker said they were going to email me the pdf of the whole wiring system on the boat, so hopefully that pans out. I would love to go to a 24v system but thats more money on top of what we have to put into it already. Maybe next year, I just want to get it going on the water so I can go fast and catch fish. My little 14 footer went just a tad slow with three 200 plus pound guys in it, with just a 9.5 horse johnson.
  17. im ready to get this on the water....
  18. Just make sure u are a part of a 4 year university... and right now it takes them forever to get back with u
  19. Several years ago when i fished the you state qualifier there it was a very good lake. We ended up just bringing grills etc for the food, i think me and my dad slept in the back of the minivan so i don't remember what the camping was like out there. It was well worth the drive to find that boat ramp, I just remember how clear it was, atleast it was the clearest lake i had fished a tournament which isn't much considering we fish all mud bottom lakes. But i was throwing a spinnerbait across some weed beds and watching the bass come chasing my lure was amazing.
  20. I used to use a little grasshopper crankbait when I was younger at small ponds. I loved them I caught more bass on those then I have on any single bait.
  21. my personal favorite is taking my hoyt compound bow out with a fish outrig on it and shoot them. Its always a fight, but that probably won't go over well since it sounds like a community pond
  22. I had tar and bondo on the bottom of my boat b/c the last owner was a lil dumb. I used a propane torch and some scrappers to get all the gunk off, my dad heated it while me and my brother scrapped, then we used the wire cup brush on the grinder to remove the rest... i need to get more wire brushes so i can finish stripping my boat come think of it
  23. the only reason why they are declaring a state of emergency is b/c they can't figure out how to sand/salt roads, trim trees.... the officials down here suck, im in college down here at OSU and from kansas. They just don't know how to handle snow or ice or anything
  24. I remember i would fish my heart out to try to go to the classic when i was in the jr. club. Im not currently in a club but screw b.a.s.s., im staying away from them. FLW will probably be where i go just b/c of this, and b.a.s.s. its starting to get the holier than though attitude that i hate with a passion.... its just sad what money does to a once great organization
  25. I don't have a very big boat, and melvern is pretty freakin big. i go to a no wake lake and still run full throttle, it needs to be be like bone creek, alot of good fishing but accessible without a 30 minute jog with atleast my boat
