  5. Good job once again Ron! Ron was just killing them with the swimming senko (weightless) . Unfortunately I got skunked. I should have stayed with the jig to get into those mats. I hope I have better luck next Sunday.
  6. Great video! Keep them coming...
  7. Roadwarrior, upon reading the article you referred us to. Nowhere does it state that the SS was designed to be fished with a weight. Although it was on of the recommended methods. Most of the guys I know fish it weightless T-rigged as Mr. Gary Yamamoto suggests in the article with great success. I'm not trying argue with you but if you look at the first line under "Weightless Texas Rig". "First and foremost, it can be used weightless. As the name says, this is a Swim Senko. When rigged weightless, just cast and swim it along... steadily... in shallow water from one to a few feet deep. Shallow water swimming is what the Swim Senko is designed for," says Gary Yamamoto. I hope this clears it up a bit. All I'm saying is SS can be fished different methods and it is not solely designed to be fished with a weight as you stated.

  17. GJ guys! Jay, nice going on the jitterbug. I have yet to catch one on mine. Ron, keep knocking dead with that swimming senko. You sure are killing them with that lure. By the way, thanks for taking me out for a couple of hours on your boat Saturday. Even though I got skunked, I had a great time.

  19. Thanks Ron and Slomoe! I hope to go back and catch a bigger one. I know they are out there.
  20. Nice fish Ron! Maybe you, Jay and I can do some fishing this week.
  21. First, I would like to thank Jay for allowing me to join him and his friend this morning at local pond. It was fun and like I said once I saw all the vegetation, I knew there was potential. The key was finding what they would hit. It's been a long time since I caught anything on frogs but it worked and I can only imagine how big of a Lunker is in that pond. Well folks, here are my pictures of the two LMB I caught this morning on Harrison-Hoge Superior Frog Charteuse about 15 minutes apart. Great time and once again thanks Jay!
