I learned on Eakins Jigs and still use them today. They have produced great for me around rock and brush alike. I use the 5/16th oz. size paired with the Eakins Craw Trailer.

I still use senkos, but only during the spawn. Bedding fish at the pond I fish at can't stand them. I rarely use them during any other part of the year though.
