try a pair of needle nose pliers to open your collars, works fine for me. Just push it down onto the tip and open.

Just about any big water body in California demands inspections now due to the quagga mussels. When you do an inspection make sure you're boat is dry, you won't pass the inspection unless it is, whether it be rain, hose or holy water. :-/

I havn't fished the 843, but I have used my 844 for many applications and it has performed well.

Club sports aren't paid for by the University.. Your lucky to get any money from club sports. Almost all the money for our University bass club comes from our own pockets. FLW is putting a great all expenses paid tournament on tho. Nice fish! Nothing like fishing right off campus.

Robin Williams is the man. He does stand up at a very small venue in my hometown once in a while. He proceeded to do an extra hour of standup entirely about a women in the crowd's furry scarf which she claimed was made of "rabbit balls." Needless to say it was hilarious.

What application are you going to be using it for? For the price of the zillion/viento I like the sol/fuego more and even more, the Alphas 103.

I have the 6'9"MHXB. Have only fished once with it, but was very pleased. The main difference from the $300+ rods is the zillions slightly higher weight.

Have you fished the Wadda Bomb by TnT. Where do you buy them?

how did you fish the anaconda ? texas-rigged, weightless , w/bullet sinker , swim it , twitch it on the bottom ??? I was throwing it t-rigged and weightless right at the edge of grass lines off points. Fished it very slow, twitching/ short sweeps. I wanted a bait that would move some water and the anaconda's tail seemed to do the trick. They really nailed it.

Threw an anaconda for the first time in my tourney last week. Ended up getting me big fish and the win. Time to pick up some lobsters.

This is exciting. The western division takes place in my home waters as well. Oregon will be there hopefully. Far as I know there are very few established college bass clubs on the west coast, hopefully this will help spark some interest.
