  1. love the color/pattern on that first fish! Time to get my butt outside and try.
  2. Snakes are scary. :-/
  3. Viper Design risebackers are sweet.
  4. No one has tried the Lure Eyes Cuda? Read some good things about them/good review on tackletour. Seem hard to find/don't make them anymore or something though. My oakleys are goners, looking for something new.
  5. The popsicle.... ugly but soo sweet.
  6. Looks solid to me. Stable/good deck.
  7. Anyone see the E21/Carrot Stix commercial? Freaking weird! A rod commercial on ESPN, not during a fishing broadcast but regular old sportscenter.
  8. Love it, I have the 6'9" Parabolic. My favorite baitcast rod I have, although I haven't been able to use the GLX i just got!
  9. Haha we think alike. Your swimbait arsenal is identical to mine, my swimbait rod is Okuma XH.. and I'm from the bay area. +1 for the okuma/cardiff 400
  10. Plaster.. Buy some plaster of paris.. whatever you want to use. Some aluminum baking pans. Mix it up, pour it in the baking pan about 1 1/2" thick, place whatever plastic you are copying firmly into the plaster. When it's dry, take out the plastic, coat the mold with some epoxy/paintbrush. If you want a two sided mold, do the same thing, but stick some popsicle sticks or paint mixers on two side of the mold. After you wait for the first side to dry, place some aluminum foil around the edges and sides. Pour more plaster over. Use a screwdriver or something similar to pry apart the two sides after the whole thing drys and be careful not to break it.
  11. Dark, 10" Power Worms are DEADLY at night.
  12. I have both in my topwater box. I'll use the super spook before any sammy. But ill take the sammy over the spook junior. The super spook seems to walk the best for me, and is one of the easiest lures to cast far/accurately.
  13. Sweet, I really like the look of the rod/reel. Where did you order it from?
  14. Kastmasters are #1 in my book unless you want to use powerbait. (green)
  15. Shimano Sahara 2500 + used Avid 6'8" MXF
  16. If he's selling the fish he's already doing something illegal.
  17. How pricey? Shimano Fireblood?
  18. Tenmile is supposed to be pretty hot right now, if you work the docks you should be able to get some.
  19. You are being way too hard on yourself, that is a great first bait...
  20. I like to T-rig them with a bullet weight and a glass bead.
  21. Yup, used to use WD40 and a bbq ignition switch. Only memory I really have is shooting out the neighbors window. oops!
  22. Well your brother gave you pretty good advice. Try a lizard or a swimbait and hop it along the bed. It's difficult to get spawning bass to bite/sight fish if it's new to you, and sometimes they just don't bite.
  23. Yup If only mine were a baitcaster I could pair it. I have the MH spinning puls-r. Time to sell off one of my extra BC's and get a spinning reel. Maybe a tierra or a symetre, we'll see. I have a president on it that is simply way too big and heavy/beat up.
  24. Curado, Citica, 50mg? Watcha want I got em all, lol.
  25. Same position as you... Too many shimanos, not enough Diawas.
