Yup I'd pick up a lunker punker, on sale for 40% off right on "imperfection" baits, minor scratches under the gel coat. I picked some up and cant tell whats wrong. I would definitely pick up some frogs. Snagproof bobby's perfect, black/yellow (imitates yellow winged blackbird), does well on the delta. MS Slammer is definitely a solid Delta swimbait. I wouldnt worry about picking up a sammy. You should be fine with what you have, but I would definitely pick up some frogs and if you wanna shell the cash a few swimbaits. The Delta is hottttt right now.

I would say the Giron is the best bait in this group. You can crank it, jerk/imitate a dying baitfish etc. It is a fish catcher, only downside is that the paint gets beat up quickly. I have one of the bluegill patterns. No point in paying the extra $5 for the live pointer, stick with the regular. Havn't heard many good things about the charlie. Real California looks good but there are probably better baits in the price range.

I would go with ichibantackle.com , you can buy used baits for less which is a cool feature and lets you get more different baits. Only took 3 days to get to me in Oregon too! Crazy.

You're probably going to want a heavier setup for stripers.. but light setups can be fun. There are some pig stripers in there. Used to go houseboating there as a kid. Probably the first time I went bass fishing as well.. My brother wrapped a hook 3 times around my head and up my nose on his backcast. LOL. ;D I'd use some super spooks to go after stripers.
