  3. Go enjoy your weekend. The only thing that will absolutely drive me off the water is Lightening. Keep an eye out and enjoy.
  4. Several hours should be fine to back it in and load a boat.
  5. Do yourself a favor and stay away. If he refuses to let you have it checked and does not allow you to put it in the water. HE IS HIDIND SOMETHING. IMO.

  17. I will allow friends to drink in my boat as long as it is in moderation. Personally, I have not had a drink in my boat in over 25 years. Just do not enjoy the feeling or the taste anymore.
  18. Depends on what you are mixing the paint with. Thinners, retarders, etc. will determine the drying time for the final coats. Several hours should be fine for backing it in the water, just understand that the paint will not have hardened and can be damaged easily. Especially if you are applying thicker coats.
  19. Do not buy it without taking it out on the water. Keep it in the water for at least an hour and try to actually fish out of it. Ensure that everything works. Pay the money and take it to a marine mechanic to have it checked out. Looking good has very little to do with it. You need to know that everything works as it should. Pay attention to a compression test on the motor. It will not lie. Good luck.
  20. congratulations. FYI, if any of the posted signs have phone numbers on them, try to contact the owner or leasing agent to see if you might have a chance to fish the posted one. Offer to pickup trash around it or mow his yard. You never know.
  21. 10, 11, 12, and larger if I can get my hands on them. For numbers though I would throw a 7 1/2 inch plastic. Have caught many 12" bass on 12" and larger plastics.
  22. Nightime, deep, slow down, humps, drops, long points for starters with emphasis on the night time.
  23. fluke, Texas rig(Weightless), trick worm, buzzbait, frog, and not in any order.
  24. Welcome C/R with a heavy sinker will help you determine the makeup of the deeper water. You should be able to determine if it is rock, sand, mud, etc. by the way the weight will act during a retrieve. Good luck.
