  1. Sounds like a bad setup. Carry it back to the dealer you purchased it from and have them do a water test. That will answer your questions. Personally i would have allready been camped on their front door wanting some answers. As far as the electronics, if they came on the boat it's the dealers responsibility to fix that too. Telling you to contact Humminbird is a bunch of you know what. Even if it requires contacting HB they should be helping you out. What jackplate and how much set back do you have?
  2. Tool box, spare hub ready to slide on, and a box with all the different fuses you might need. Small floor jack & a four way lug wrench instead of the jack that comes with your truck. Makes changing a tire a breeze. I bought my floor jack from a pawn shop for 15.00. It fits under the rear seat of my truck and stays there 100% of the time.
  3. Texas Christian University Ft. Worth, Texas Mascot: Hornfrogs Don't count them out just yet.
  4. There were some very good fish sitting just off the bream beds two weeks ago. We caught fish all day long on a black buzzbait and a frog. Also watch for schooling fish. There were some bruisers running with them. Good luck
  5. Make dang sure you know what's under or near the boat(Big stumps/Iron posts). Stay in the boat lanes. I wish I had known you were going and I would have sent you the Lance Vick boat lane chip I have. Be very careful out of the lanes.
  6. Check with the manufacturer. Failure to use the reccommended oil/grease can void the warranty.
  7. For mono: Trielene Big Game (Green) in 8-15#. Depending on the type of cover and water clarity. $7.99 a spool. Braid: Suffix or Power Pro in whatever you want.
  8. I just remember how it was when I tore into my first few baitcasters. Ended up having to take them to the shop to have them reassembled. Don't mind helping anyone out. I don't do it for a living, just trying to help a few learn how to work on them. Glad you are happy with it. If you need to go into it let me know and I will walk you through the reassemble over the phone. They are actually very easy to work on as long as everything goes back together correctly. If not they can be a nightmare.

  15. I never bought into the red hook fad.
  16. Not sure if it's the worst, but i tail hooked a catfish last Saturday morning. No one around. Riped it out of my index finger with a pair of needle nose pliers. Rammed my hand down in the cooler to numb it before I did it though. Worst part was trying to push the meat back in the finger. It ain't no fun.
  17. Sam, I disagree that Baylor is not happy. In fact, they are ecstatic. The only other choice they would have had would have been a chance to enter C-USA.
  18. I went to the one last year on Lake conroe. Carry a pocket full of money. Lots of company booths selling their products. Enjoyed the weighin and the crowds were great. You should enjoy it. Autographs were available if you want one. Each pro went through the weighin and then entered a line to meet the crowd. I didn't get down to where they were signing, just saw a lot of people in that area and they seemed to being enjoying themselves. good luck
