ol monsters..
X2 x3 and use a 5/0 if the bait is thicker.Owner offset shank worm hooks get the job done well.

Favorite fall crankbait
Jointed shad rap 05 and 07 in shad color. It is a suspender that can be worked real slow if needed and works in all water clarities.

Sellers Lake, Fl
Love when they do that! Nice looking cover. I go nuts fishing that stuff.

Aggressive Strike
Agree. LOL I had it happen fishing ribbits more than anything else and it still scares the dogsh-- out of me every time. It happens a lot with cranks too. From what I understand it seems that the fish will sometimes make a last ditch effort to pin the prey item against the boat. Bass like it when they can get prey cornered or trapped in shallow water.

Very dumb Question
HUH!?! Maybe that wasn't worded right Let me break it down for you DW. You ever meet anybody that won't take advice or even ask for it because they somehow know it all already? A question asked is a question learned no matter how insignificant it may be.Everyone needs to start somewhere.

How do you match the forage base?
Thats pretty sound advice.

Very dumb Question
Better to ask a question than to be a dummy that "knows everything" and doesn't bother to ask questions.

One More Mend-it thread
I kinda just now answered that on the senko repair thread. My last bottle got me well over 300 baits including many creations that I made too. Also have to take into consideration that most of the repairs I am doing are minor.Like I said ,personally I prefer to just use a new bait and put a damaged one to the side. Easier to fix and less chance that the bait will get fully ripped to pieces and lose tails etc.. This is also because I am good at using it now though. It takes a little practice to get used to it.The better you get at it the less of it you will use. You will first notice that any hole or rip automatically gets bigger upon contact. The acetone or whatever is in it eats the plastic then melts it back together when it dries. It is not a glue. You must use caution when fixing a very bad rip.Pieces of the bait may fall right off but that is not as bad as it sounds. It just goes back to taking a few times to get used to using it.

quick CHEAP senko repair
I am halfway through my second bottle of the stuff and I have repaired well over 200 plastics plus made plenty of creations. Can't do the math on that though since plastics vary in price and quantities per bag but it would be safe to say that it paid for itself.

One More Mend-it thread
The rage baits are very durable to begin with and they also take to mend-it very well. I have recycled my annies numerous times. After about 3-4 times of repairng the same area on a bait it will then become noticably less durable though. The best way to use it is to mend the baits before they reach that ugly point of no return. If you get a bite or snag just take the bait off and put a new one on.Save the used ones and fix them all later. It is much easier to repair minor rips and hook holes then to fix split heads and bodies ripped in half. As long as I got a bottle I only need to buy one pack of a certain bait.no need to buy several bags of one kind unlss it is something that is really hard to find.

PB Weight?
That fish is well built. It would definitely go high fives or possibly a tad over 6 in my opinion.

Spro Bronzeye King Daddy
I agree too.Personally though I think the biggest advantage to this frog would be for heavy vegatation and mats. It will move more water and create more commotion on a thick mat. Then of course that goes back to the original point about hooksets though... :-?

Good Week for Mad Maxx
Good catch man! So far I love everything about that frog.Got to try one the other day.

Blue Bird Skies...or rain?
Welcome to the board.

Blue Bird Skies...or rain?
What gets me riled up is the weather around here in late July and August. Black skies one min then 1/2 hr later burning bright and a thousand degrees.Even rains while it is bright out. I go from my colors, locations, lures for overcast, then back to sunny over and over. Honestly after 8 yrs of living in Florida I still can't figure out these goofy fish this time of year.I absolutely can't stand it.Fall needs to be here like yesterday.

Swimmin' Brush Hogs??
Not really lucky, just changing the presentation.Thats what you got to do sometimes. The weight you use also will determine the speed and or depth for this method. Brush hog not my favorite for this I would prefer a rage craw or gambler flappin worm.Any plastic that flaps, flutters, swims could potentially work though.

Z9R?????
There was a thread about this a little while ago.Someone kindly suggested that the bristles would be well suited for scrubbing a toilet. Thats all I know about the bait so far. ;D

Ugliest bass you have ever caught?
For as little .50 a day you can sponsor a starving bass in need

Is there a Rule about this????
I totally missed the "some" jigheads part and yes I know you already know what I was saying. I have some falcon k-shakey head and k-shakey standup head with a wide gap. They are nice for thick baits including senkos(link not posted since I got them from the"forbidden" site) I also got some of these a long time ago. D+M customs is a top notch store with incredible service. http://cgi.ebay.com/Shakey-Jig-Clearlake-Special-5-count_W0QQitemZ390024016465QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item5acf3e3251&_trksid=p4634.c0.m14.l1262 Theres another neat one I found called the secret lures tail shaker.(once again forbidden zone) Google the names of the ones I posted and you'll probably find them or even find my super secret online store.

Rigging a fluke type bait.
I've rigged it that way and put a 1/32oz screw weight on the nose a few times.Looks and acts cool but haven't used it enough times to know whether it is something I want to pursue. Choices choices.......
-
Rigging a fluke type bait.
Then theres the double fluke rig except this time using a mag fluke chasing the tiny fluke jr Not saying it is the must do technique but it is a lot of fun and looks really cool in the water.
-
Rigging a fluke type bait.
Ever rig it upside down(in back/out belly). It too causes changes. The size of the hook wire gauge causes different action and sink rate. The type of rod used can have an impact as well and of course how hard or soft you twitch it with said rod. The completely random unpredictable nature of these baits is what can make them deadly.

Catch and Release?
This is a real black and white issue and I appoligize for being an azz as well. I truly don't have that big of a problem with people that keep fish. I just wish some people were more educated on what kind of fish they are taking out and also be able to take into consideration the type of water body they are taking it from. I agree. It is every liscense holders right to do what they please with there catch within the legal limits but the whole point of my other posts is this:What if we all kept everything we catch? What if every angler had no qualms about taking a 6-10 lb fish out? The population has dramatically grown,so has the sport and the overall number of anglers. The number of places to fish and the catchable bass in them however does not increase.

Cost of Pigs and Frogs
Wow! Nice gut on that girl

Catch and Release?
But don't you ever wonder why you caught that big fish to begin with? Was it your amazing skill or lots of luck? I think it goes deeper than that and it's because people like me are letting them go to grow and make babies. So one day when your are sitting in your boat with your thumb up your- and wondering why you can't catch anything big you'll maybe realize that it is better to have it pulling your line than sitting in your king size frying pan.
