  1. These seem to be gaining a little popularity lately.I personally haven't fished one yet. I was just wondering what is your opinion on them? Are they a lunker bass lure or musky bait only,or are they a good all around bait to use? When would you throw one? Just curious. The monkey never sleeps. Thanks
  2. Gulp sux! I have been eyeballing the powerbait realistix 10 inch eels for a while now though. They look sooo cool. May work ,never know less ya try.
  3. Net Bait 11 inch t-mac 8-)
  4. Once again it's all about how well your rod measures up
  5. Nothing wrong with that. I would go another step and try a fluke, creature bait, soft frog,or a paddletail minnow bait say 4 inches
  6. That was good Really I always chug as much premium orange juice as I can stomach. Also drink hot tea with honey and lemon and a splash of beam or jack don't hurt neither.
  7. Take a picture of the picture or just scan it and post it :-?
  8. Senko being the other choice.
  9. Tail down it will spin like a pin wheel. It aint no different than rigging a frog. How do you rig a frog? Let's start another post :
  10. Agreed x2 I only use 3: Black,White,Chart/white
  11. fo' shizzle my nizzle..... Ya,what they said....
  12. Agreed! I've had days when I got most of my box scattered out in the boat > 1st things I would normally try in no particular order would be a popper, devils horse or a fluke, grub,4 in senko in white, silver,or smoke variation If you want to sink down try the fluke on a jig head or keel weighted hook
  13. Man those things are ugly! They are a nuisance around my parts. Will tear the holy hell out of a popper or a frog bait. Nice fish though
  14. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_37086____SearchResults These are killer! 8-) I like the 1/16 oz for a nice slow fall. If trolling I use the 1/8 oz or if it is windy.
  15. There are hands in the picture? Ya know which one I hate on here? "X2" as the sole response to a question... x2 ;D X3 Actually what I really hate is when someone on shore yells something to the effect of " You really gonna throw that back?!?!" Clueless
  16. x2 A proper rod for these techniques is essential to consistent success. I don't use it, but from what I understand about florocarbon line, which sinks, can help out too.
  17. Good stuff! ;D A very misleading plot. I didn't think the story would end the way it did
  18. That is kind of a vague question. It depends on what conditions you are facing and what the fish want and what you are trying to achieve. Cover/structure type, depth, water clarity, mood of the fish can all make a difference. I like the fact that you are thirsting for specific knowledge, but not sure how to answer this question.Nothing that you read or what we say can beat time and experience on the water. You may try scanning through the spinnerbait articles on here or better yet try ***. I learned almost everything I know from his in depth spinnerbait guidlines. 8-)
  19. How bout a dollar just for the hell of it :-?
  20. Agree. Certainly. Absolutely. positively! Indeed 4-Sure yupster! Fo Sho Word Decidedly! Absotively posilutly :-?
  21. Sounds to me like you already got the right idea.Just do like LBH said and mix it up. It also seems to me that different poppers/brands work better worked in certain ways (IE:I always machine gun a Storm chug bug) These are lures that need to be played with a lot. When you get confidence in it you will begin to feel as if you can catch one on any day since you know so many retrieves.
  22. Rapala dt-6 in shad and jointed shad rap-7 in shad
