  1. Slowwwww retrieve on the top has produced for me. This bait isn't much for burning. It has a very wide wobble.Short rips on the top must be done kind of softly.Rod downwards you can crank it a little faster and it will dive about 6-8 inches.Looks cool twitched in place. It takes a minute to get used to like I said.It can and will lose stability if cranked too fast or ripped hard because of the exaggerated wobble. I would recommend using it in place of a buzzbait or in a situation where you might want to throw a jitterbug, and yes it works at night.
  2. TW has them or should I say had.Seem to be sold out already.
  3. This certain ethnic group seems to be the worst.I too have had this problem around here. They also use the fish to sell and they keep shiners and minnows to sell also.If it gets in the net it's going home. I get really upset when they are doing it in small ponds. It takes a lot less harvesting to ruin the balance in a small lake. I have called the game warden when I see this happening but like you said I don't believe the penalties are stiff enough.
  4. Rigging straight on the seam and keeping everything in line prevents twirling, line twist and makes for a more natural presentation.
  5. I think it is a great lure.Very different. It is a little wierd to use at first.I almost canned it after the first time I threw it.Then I figured it out Produces some very violent strikes.
  6. I agree, use a 4/0 Owner Wide Gap Plus. x3 Gamakatsu works well but have found the Owner to be the best.
  7. Yep too far for me :-[
  8. Paca Craw.It does it all and comes in some killer colors.
  9. Because it looks and acts different and puts off a lot of thump. Whatever floats your boat and catches you fish. There are a heck of a lot of things that I think are junk that other people swear by.
  10. Nice post! Ever wonder if the cats think there are too many people running around? They don't have the means or know how to pop your a** though :
  11. The new generation rage annaconda is a much better oversize tail worm.I would rather chuck it out there.
  12. Thats a dead ringer. I like it for pitching to specific targets such as stumps. Good at night also with its oversized tail. Looks like a smaller one judging by the picture. The ones I use are called big dead ringer. It's an okay worm, does it's job.
  13. Corniest post ever Thanks for the smile
  14. It will outfish live bait. That has to count for something. :
  15. Nope. The basic design of this bait allows for full hookups The rear sits low in the water.I have never missed a fish that struck at this bait.Sure a small few have shook off, but they always get stuck.
  16. Anythings worth a try.The frog would probably have to worked painfully slow. I think you'd be better off with a trick worm fished weightless, wind permitting.Of course I don't know how weedy it is but a splitshot rig with a slender mojo style weight swam through the grass slowly would work if is scattered or clumped grass.
  17. Aint nothin that a waxworm can't do.Best BG bait I ever used. Why don't ya cook up a killer carp recipe
  18. X2 I would normally tie a loose overhand knot in it and let it sail into the sunset never to return
  19. Think this could replace a jig for any of you guys that are big on jigs? This thing just looks evil but only comes in a 3/4 oz. http://www.***.com/descpageRIVERSOFT-R2SSY.html#
  20. The splatterback is the bomb 8-)
  21. IMO they are a steal. They flat out catch fish. The overall durability is pretty decent. The quality is along the same lines as a Bandit or Normans. You will get some bad apples in the bunch but that happens with any cheap cranks. The hooks are pretty crappy so you may choose to change them.
  22. No offense, but this question is kinda ridiculous.I or anyone else would need one of those clicker counters mounted to the side of the boat or carried in our pockets, even then I would only count half of them since I would rather not spend the time to click it before getting another cast out there.
