  1. Agree. If you think about what they were and what they did I don't think rock would be the same today without them.
  2. Another disagree, sorry. You can't quite put a jig,any jig, into the places where you can put a slender low profile craw worm, tube, creature.
  3. OOOFF! that will leave a hole in the pocket,but...I am sure the quality is makes up for it. Those baits just scream eat me.
  4. Another fine contribution to the forum courtesy of Muddy ;D
  5. x1000 The one that gets me is when fishing through brush and the weight falls on one side of stick as your coming over and want to let the bait sink again. Ever try to skip an unpegged bait.A joke. I understand the differences in peg vs. un and the reasons why I would want either one but I don't really think it has anything to do with hooksets though.
  6. Well if you got a great deal then why the hell not?? I would buy them too. I can honestly say that a popper isn't a popper and I really love the lobina rico and rio rico(larger). 20.00 and worth every penny. The sound it makes is just like a skipping baitfish.
  7. Yep I would like to see it go to Europe to Maxdal,or T-rig or to someone in Brazil or Mexico. Like I told bassin_blvd we could still run 2 threads but only can have one sticky. It's a tough decision :-/ It would make keeping track of the season 2 lure a little harder.
  8. Not meaning to be a quizzical pain in the @zz Fluke, but why can't we make them both a sticky? I volunteered to keep track of this one and the original is on the way to me now. I am going to start a list of interested members today or tomorrow. If we cannot make a sticky I could ask the members interested to PLEASE add this thread to their favorites for quick future reference??
  9. I haven't used a crank but have used an original rapala and a yo-zuri crystal minnow. This works better if you weight the rear end slightly to make it float horizontally instead of nose down.Guess what I'll be doing when I get the bass resource lure relay lure
  10. Priceless Sam. ;D You always have a unique way of putting things into perspective
  11. I got the same problem : Maybe I'll try that. The only thing I used so far was wd-40.
  12. There will be a time between Jan-may where the bulk or majority will be spawning.I am also a firm believer that if the winter is warm such as last year that many will do it multiple times. I can guarantee you that we were catching some pigs in december last year and seen several beds. These fish were all coming out of small waters though and that may be the difference.Small murky lakes can heat up quickly. Either way I would definitely look in "staging areas" in December and make sure you hit the full moon in january.
  13. Hard to go wrong with a paca or rage. A few other ideas would be zoom super speed craw.It has oversized claws and a slender body that could be ripped to size if desired. A sizmic toad or sizmic jr model.I like these for swimming around slop.Yum craw papi.
  14. Sounds like a witch trial here.Lets just burn him at the stake!I am sure that bass fishing is the only sport 100% percent without corruption or greed and all anglers who participate have never told a lie or been dishonest about anything in their lives. The holier than thou attitude doesn't make a good read either. :
  15. X2 read my mind LOL. The cherry is great! Am I the only one that like to toast pop tarts and melt some butter on them? Delicious!

Is that the bait that laughs and come with that ridiculous hair piece on top of it? :-? (see Bill Dance ;D)
  17. I agree with Senko 100% I also like the Sammy in calm conditions. You can make it walk very smoothly without all the splashing and banging. I break out the s spook jr. and super spook in choppy, windy, overcast conditions. Yep, I know the original Zara has no rattles but I can't seem to catch a cold on it.
  18. What is the fish in the 3rd photo T-Rig?? Very nice. The fish in my avatar is a 10.5 caught this past January. Here are two beautiful crappie caught this past feb. Both about 2.5.
  19. Fishfordollars is sending it to me.Will post when I recieve it. BRRRRR! 38 degrees tonight and cold clear crap all this week. I hope I get a decent day to fish it very soon. The fish around here get a serious attitude in this weather.I'm probably gonna flip or throw a trickworm and take a nap or watch some tv on my phone while waiting for a bite :
  20. I'm still trying to figure out what makes it special
  21. Beautiful! I miss looking at places like that. Thanks for posting. I'll tell ya,living in Florida has it's benefits and serious downfalls. :-/
