Jig Man is dead on. You can find a local machine shop that could fabricate the aluminum for you, complete with holes for water flow and flanges for use with rivets or screws. Probably be purdy cheap to. Good luck.

The bite will probably be slow. Three baits I would try: finesse worms, finesse worms, and finesse worms. Fish slow and tight to cover. If you have any exposed rocks, they will soke up that sun and distribute the heat to the surrounding water, making those spots worth a try. Also, ditto on the rattle trap reaction bite, that's some seriously fun fishing when it pays off. Whatever you do, get off the couch and fish, enjoy every chance you get to be on the water. I'm kinda new to the forums so I might be wrong when I say that I have not seen Georgia waters represented that much here. So I'm wondering how many other Georgia anglers we have here? I'd love to here more about Blackshear, Seminole, West Point, Russel, Clarks Hill, Oconee, or Walter George " Eufaula on the other side ;D ". I feel like we got the best bass waters in the world, and we have a bass club in almost every county and city so there has got to be alot of ya'll here. So tell us where you are, what's you're home lake or favorite pond. Tell us about your PB or lake conditions. As for me, I live in Tifton, Ga. and I've been fishing for 20+ years. I've fished some open tournaments and plan on fishing all ten of our local club tourneys next year. My personal best is 9.89 LMB, and she came from a local farm pond. I like to say that my home lake is Paradise W.M.A because this is the place that instilled in me the love for the sport. Mostly, my accomplishments are few, but my lies are pretty good ;D. Anyway, let's here from some other Georgia boys out there.

This could change anyday, but currently my best bites are coming from a texas rigged 6" Zoom u-tail in " watermelon red", with my number two bait being an origanal Rattle Trap in "lake chub".

Also a deep south angler but one of my concerns would be your line selection. Low grade mono gets kinda stiff when it's really cold here in Georgia, I can't imagine how it will react in those temps. Maybe try florocarbon?? As for lure selection hair jig and trailer combo sounds good coming from what I read over the years. Catch one for us!

The DOT office in Tifton, Ga. had a nice little tournament to raise money for cancer research last May. They might do the same this year(2008). Had 30-35 boats, nice payout for a charity event. Lots of fun. I got SKUNKED!! ;D ;D

If your driving the speed of light and you turn on your headlights, will they work? What would a chair look like if your legs bent the other way? What happens when an unstopable force meets an unmoveable object? Why does my brother catch a fish from the same structure I just fished, with the same lure I just fished, Yet I did not? :-/

Only thing slowing me down is this time change thing. Gettin' dark way to early. :'(
