Niced fish man!

Sweet little spot you got there. Looks like it would be nice and shady in the summer.

Some days it weighs way to much and some days it seems I need just a few more things.

X2... I can find the site, but I ain't seeing no crank baits. :-/

3/8 to 1/2 oz. I try to keep all my different color and blade combos in both weights.

Is there is a spot where the grass meets the drop off? If so that might be the sweet spot.

That's Alex, he does not care that much for fishing yet, but he loves being out on the boat.

I keep a couple under 2 pounds probably three times a year for the table. I have mounted 2 and I don't think I will mount another, but you never know. Other than that, everything goes back in the water.

We had some really nice weather in South Ga. this weekend. Me,my son, and my brother had a chance to get on the water Saturday and took full advantage! We caught several small fish anywhere from 2 pounds and down before we decided to check the west side of the pond we where fishing to see if we could find some warmer water and maybe a few prespawners. That turned out to be a great idea! First cast on the west bank and we hooked a double. My fish was right at 9 pounds and my brother's was just over 5. We never hooked a double like this before! Caught several more small fish but these 2 girls made the trip. Both fish were caght on a t-rigged junebug finesse worm, both were released in great shape. Please excuse the hot sauce stain on my shirt, it's not easy to eat viennas and fish at the same time! ;D

Sunday morning, 5:00 AM, deep south Ga., 26 degrees 10-15 mph winds. Just loaded my boat, heading out at 6:30. :-/

The origanal scum frog is my choice. I cut one of the legs(skirts) about a 1/2" shorter than the other to make it easier for me to acheive a walk-the -dog action. Very productive for me in midsummer in nasty stuff where the fish go to hunt for shade.

By the look on your face I can tell you had to stretch quite a bit to get a couple of those girls in the frame. Maybe Avid can give you some different stretching exercises to loosen you up before your next trip! ;D ;D ;D Nice fish dude! Keep the posts coming.
