  3. "Blind Luck and Showmanship" is good for the soul ;D And being able to actually set the hook when long lining with Braid makes for a real party too.....Sounds like you had it all goin your way and had a fun time to boot Often when we are fishing jigs deep, sight is not the main tool for feeding bass....feel becomes their primary sense and I have found that slowing down to a snails pace while working the bait in these conditions allows it to bump around on everything it touches and create vibrations like slow moving crawdad. If slow enough, the fish have time to investigate these vibrations and WALLAH. All part of your master plan....Right Big O www.ragetail.com
  4. You're a great Dad Ellesar and congratulations to you and your terrific son Pictures are great Big O www.ragetail.com

  7. Here's an illustration to help show the difference....... Big O www.ragetail.com
  8. I mainly use superline (heavy guage) hooks on everything. I have in fact bent them back into shape once or twice when I was in a pinch for time or hooks. And for sure with screwlock or swimbait hooks and jigs, one time bending back will often take place if they're only slightly opened up. Big O www.ragetail.com
  9. The Thumpers are starting to hit the shelves at BPS and for those of you who get them, please notice the dashed line located on the flat sides of the curl tail portion. If you scissor cut along the line removing the tip of the tail, this changes the action from a swirling swim to a faster side to side flapping motion. Adds to the versitility of use by changing the flicker rate and vibration. Some fish want it faster Hope you like'em Big O www.ragetail.com
  10. This info is posted on our News Site and it explains it pretty well. Also below are hooking instructions. It is a "Soft Plastic Buzzbait" that can be fished over slop that a buzzbait will get tangled up in... [ch9702]This design provides the most noise and water movement of any soft plastic top water design ever. It is the soft plastic answer to buzz baits, equal or more aggressive in action, noise and water movement yet it can be fished in areas that buzz baits can't run successfully because there is no prop to tangle in the grass and moss. [ch9702]The Rage Shad should be rigged tail upright for best results using a 4/0 EWG Superline hook. Insert the hook point in the nose of the shad and bring out just past the eye on the bottom side. Push the hook completely thru turning it over so that the point of the hook is pointing towards the bottom of the Shad. Leave the eye of the hook slightly exposed in the tip of the nose. Re insert the hook directly beneath the tail and protrude the hook point and barb area completely thru the body of the bait and allow it to lay just beneath the point of the large tail portion, or skin hook the point back into the body for a totally weedless application. Important to keep the bottom of the Shad as flat as possible so that it will plane out on the surface easily and run perfectly true. Hope that helps Big O www.ragetail.com
