  1. ...fulfilling my BR Contest pick for Classic Winner! I'm hoping so!
  2. I have Howell and Ducket sitting out. Ducket has killed me, I really expected him to do well this weekend. 0 fish on day 2???? ouch
  3. 18 in so far, KVD in front with 19-8, big bass is Don Hogue with a 6-0
  4. amazing, despite the fact that ESPN360 is free to those on U.S. Military bases, it will still not let me watch the live weigh-in...despite the fact that I am on Ft. Dix and connected to the post wireless service. ESPN never forgets to disappoint me!
  5. It sounds like they got him in a different boat pretty quickly, but they have no way of tracking his limit until he weighs in. I hope he made something of it, or my fantasy team is in the crapper.

I acquired a copy from some of the Army Special Operations guys I am training with right now, and plan on giving it a go starting today!
  7. Game on. After the spanking I received last year I'm ready to get the ball rolling this year!
  8. 36 now. I completely bombed last year after forgetting to remove an angler who wasn't even competing in the classic! Lesson learned: read the rules, you can change anglers as often as you like so long as it is not during a tournament! Game on!
  9. We got about 16-18 here in NJ last weekend and have another 10-20 coming in tonight/tomorrow. I'm in training at Ft. Dix, and we will most likely have to move our training from the classroom to the barracks because the snow is getting too deep to hike through to and from class and meals!
  10. Just put my fantasy fishing team together and could not find a BR group. Is there going to be a group again this year?
  11. 22" here at Ft. Dix, NJ...its been fun trekking to and from training all day today!
  12. ...not to mention the fact that most of us who would attend the Classic are likely to have a gun on us or very nearby!
  13. I'm gonna say your ride is totaled. that hitch probably pushed its way back pretty far meaning a lot of engine components will need replaced. Glad you are okay!
  14. Cook, welcome aboard! Lots of great people and great info here. I'm headed to Ft. Dix in a few days, so please feel free to start warming things up for me in NJ, I'm tired of cold weather already!
  15. A lot of the equipment slated to leave Iraq soon will likely find its way to Afghanistan. I hope phones are on the list!
  16. I liked it, but I would not count on it winning any awards. I agree there was very little structure or actual storyline to it, but it was a great look at the BS those EOD guys have to deal with. Worth a watch at least, but I won't be buying it.
  17. I had two friends that went to Coastal and loved it. I wish I would have known about the school before I made my College pick! Not to mention the fact that I love everything about SC!
  18. Agreed, Thad was great when I was at Xavier. Every player loved the way he coached, I think he will have a great career!
  19. Congrats, man. My son will turn 3 on April Fools day, its been a lot of fun, you will love it for sure!
  20. Thank you showing that those with poor work ethics are of varying ages. It is easy to blame a generation when the fault actually lies in workers of all ages. I was recently FIRED from a job by a boss who found it in her best interest to place blame on me for an error she made. As a result, I, the younger and harder working employee is without a job all of a sudden. I'm 29, and while I do see slackers younger than me, I also see quite a few that are older and still aren't worth their paychecks but keep their jobs because of seniority. If you ask me, seniority is a crock. I hated it in the military and in the civilian workforce. Just because someone has been half-a$ing their job for years does not make them any more qualified than those who have less seniority. Work ethic is definitely on the decline across the board. Too many people doing the bare minimum to keep their jobs and not worrying about actually DOING what they are paid to do. My .02
  21. Yep, same guy. Fortunately he can 'board better than he can dance. But, that cute girl he was paired up with on dancing has been spending a lot of time with Louie and his family at the qualifying events... I am sure he hasn't minded seeing more of her!
  22. I'll second that and add that while your chances of catching a fish might not be great, your chances of catching a fish if you don't try are 0%
  23. Louie Vito, whom I grew up with and babysat for, just made the 2010 U.S. Olympic snowboard team! Although most on the forum hate everything snow and frozen-water related, I had to share this. Louie is a great kid and I can't wait to see him in Vancouver! http://espn.go.com/action/snowboarding/gallery?id=4854574
  24. I throw HJs and X-raps a lot in springtime just trying to figure out where the bass are at. They are great in river fishing for smallies too. There is no 1 way I work them, whatever works on that day will do the trick!
