  1. I just got home and put my two year old to bed. Nothing in any of the one night stands or other relationships feels remotely as good as when he gives me a hug and tells me goodnight. And I did some some fun stuff (and people). But you have to find the right person. With your outlook, you're not ready or mature enough, and that's totally ok. You may or may not get there, and that's ok too. But when you get there, you'll understand.
  2. Depending on the poo, you may have a (some) raccoons with the mice as a clean-up crew. Rat poo is just a little bigger than mouse poo. 'Coon poo looks more like an elongated hershey's kiss. And they'll carry stuff like that around; so will squirrels.
  3. What's said is very true. If you think it's time, it probably is. You could put a couple other litter boxes throughout the house to see if that helps. Old age sucks, ask Dwight and SirSnooksAlot. :-)
  4. I use 20 lb powerpro on my Sahara 2500s with no problems. That should handle everything you need it to do. Use a leader if you want...don't if you don't...I've never really had it matter other than treble hook baits in current. Then you want to use a mono or flouro leader to keep the braid out of the trebles.
  5. The unscrew thing is exactly what I was thinking. They're not broken, you just unscrewed the handle a little. Buit I wouldn't keep trying to torture test things you don't own. It's towards the illegal side of douchey.
  6. I have a Cardiff 200 that DVT had his way with. I like it so much I traded Bluebasser my Revo SX for his Cardiff 100. Get it, and get it tuned up and you'll love it. Great reels.

I have a 08 4 Runner currently, and drove an Exploder before that. The 4Runner is an infinitely better car, but you're going to have a heck of a time finding one with a third row seat in your price range. But that with a 2WD V6 should get you in your mileage and probably price range. I would also consider a Hyundai Santa Fe from the 2009 vintage. Should be economical, get you in your price range, and they're actually nice vehicles for the purpose you're describing.
  8. 6 year old Black Lab, Neeka. Great with kids, curious about ducks. She's getting a little fluffy with the toddler around tossing her snacks.
  9. I use 20# on all of mine pretty much. Never had a problem.
  10. Big long rod, small sharp hook, decent mono = no problems. The bass probably set it herself on the strike. I would want to try to sink the original hook on the 8"er at that distance, but that's a big part of the reason for the trebles.
  11. Actually I am! We lived there for five years; I got transferred right in the middle of their WS run. Our first night here was the night of that one game playoff. We did an impromtu pub crawl in Old Town Alexandria trying to get someone to put it on the TV! Thank you Austin Grill bartender (and Mr Jack$on). They've been tough to watch, but they've made some good moves and CarGo and Tulo are goign to be HoF talents.
  12. As long as the seat posts are very very short, you should be fine. You don't want to be sitting higher than the gunnels in most canoes.
  13. Beautiful fish! Really good looking and healthy! She looks like she may have been starting to clear a bed based on the pinlyness at the bottom front of her tail.
  14. I have 6 that I've had more or less for 6+ years, great reels, stand up well, and really respond to proper maintainence.
  15. I use Cardiff 200 for 6 in Hudds and similar baits and it works fantastic. DVT did a supertune on it and made it even better. I previously used a Revo SX, which I didn't like. The Cardiff balances the big rod better, holds more line, and feels all around more solid. I use 15 lb Yozuri Hybrid and couldn't be happier.
  16. Depending on your specific rod, if you fish it with braid you should be fine on hooksets, even with the heavier gauge hooks. It might be a little dicey if you hook a good sized fish in cover, but I owuldn't worry too much about the hooksets with braid.
  17. Yes. Get something more conservative. Gold/Red/Blue
  18. That Pappy is good stuff. I like Makers Mark for general usage, or will step it up to Rip or straight Van Winkle if I'm feeling more cultured...I also like JD and a few differnt ryes for some roughage.
  19. Memphis in May?
  20. Talk to DVT; he made me a great ML/XF spinning rod on a MHX blank. He'll do you right.
  21. BPS in Sevierville, TN, but that's about an hour from JC.
  22. Maybe for the karma bus you should donate the stuff to Casting for Kids or something of the like. Just an idea. But you do what you like.
  23. If you've never used them, don't assume anything. The EVx are very good rods. St Croix, Daiwa, and especially All Star also make alot of crap to go along with their decent rods.
  24. If you're looking for a slow level fall, use a hook with a shank weight. They come as light as 1/64 oz that I have seen. At that light of a weight though, it's almost a wash with just using a heavier gauge hook.
  25. Nice! That just needs some hushpuppies and slaw next to it! Have you tried the Revo out?
