never met the man. that said, not once have i ever heard him in post round interviews congratulate or compliment the winner of a tournament in which he did not win...unless asked, he never even mentions them. that may seem a small thing to many but, it is the only "tell" i need to know about the man. i could care less about all the other.

It looks sharp, will work great. I prefer a bit smaller, lighter reel on the 803 - I'm using the Aldebaran/Core 50 size reel on the 803 and am VERY happy with the combo. actually , meant the 804...must have been having one of my senior moments. and, will agree, with the 803...steez 103 here.

sounds about right to me. have used 12# on a m/f (mbr782) and 15# on a mh/f (mbr783) for years.

the rotor on the 100ha spool is thicker with a straight edge. the rotor on the 103ha spool is thinner with a tapered edge. again, this is probably a matter of semantics more than anything else...the models i own may be a tad older than yours.
