New to Jerkbaits
can't speak to the 128...it is the one size lc i have not used. that said, all my lc jerkbaits suspend perfectly at water temps 55 degrees or cooler. at higher water temps, almost all mine (flashminnows, pointers, slender pointers, staysees) actually sink...very, very slowly but still, they sink...the husky jerks i have used sink, as well, in the higher water temps. line size may have something to do with this, as well...i tend to use a heavier line than most (12# yozuri hybrid)...ymmv here. as mentioned above, you can always return it if not satisfied but, it looks to me you've learned the art of jerkbaits quite well. 8-) nice fish.

Underwater Cameras Worth it? Or is it cheating
some much younger fishing buddies of mine bought one years ago when they shared a boat. it's kinda like tv...you spend so much time watching it, you get very little else done...in this case, actually fishing and catching fish. they sold it after about the third trip out...with some great visuals to remember and little fish to show for it.

Your most unusual catch...and what bait did you catch it on?
6' water mocassin on a 4f fat a. never let 'em tell you they only swim on TOP of the water.

The Far Side
Must have been The Far Dark Side. wasn't really that bad. just a big warehouse of cardboard boxes and one guy packing smaller boxes inside them for shipment...and the guy wondering why he had no friends. the smaller boxes were chocolate fudge. there were people in the office that never did get it.

Surley not!

Rod Length and accuracy
I would pay to see that! ;D BTW, I use shorter rods (6') all the time but I have tried a few 7' and I am more accurate with 6' rods. i dunno. it ain't purty for the gnat! 8-)

Culprit Worm testimonial
i have 3 bags of worms in my panic box. zoom finesse culprit 7.5 zoom ole monster if they don't hit one of them, it's time to go to the house.

Rod Length and accuracy
all in all, i think this is one of those "indian/arrow" deals. am just as accurate with an mbr843 (mh/f) as i am with an mbr783 (mh/f), using the same bait. that said...have used the cbr845 (mh/m) for years...as much as i like it for overhead, open water casting, i was never as consistent when targeting shoreline targets as i am with a cbr785 (mh/m). with a cbr785, i can pop a gnat's *** at 40 paces. am just saying.

Older Quantum 381 Crankin' Reels
the old 1310's were good, dependable reels...imo, the best quantum had at that time. good luck on your purchase.

Gotta ask one more time before I order TODAY ... BCR854GLX VS MBR844C GLX VS BCR855GLX
as much as i like the bcr series, the mbr series is the better "all-around".

Out with the old, in with the new.
owners are tough to beat...gammie superlines are a bad close second. superlines, mind you.
