  1. palomar. slobber on it like you love it and pull the tag end.
  2. Same here. I've had two. Solid reel. thirdsies.
  3. 21. only because i haven't had a "flashback" in years.
  4. if it don't fit in my back pocket, i don't need it.
  5. gives a whole new meaning to "bass out the ***".
  6. been using the 15# the past two years. no breakoffs yet.
  7. this has more to do with the indian than the arrow.
  8. the xlt's were/are good reels.
  9. at present, have one cbr and one mossyback...all else is either an mbr/sjr imx or a bcr glx. i seem to be addicted to carbon scrim.
  10. they tell me i had a lot of fun in those years.
  11. if i can remember correctly, as well, the earlier two-hole models were having some corrosion problems in one part of the reel if used in salt. the three-hole models were introduced to better drain that area of the reel. no difference otherwise.
  12. played with the spinnerbait/worm rod the other day and thought the same thing...way too moderate for spinnerbaits and worms. felt more like a cbr.
  13. steez 103/cbr785...trebles steez 100/mbr783...blades steez 103/bcr803...plastics steez 100/bcr804...jigs sustain 2500/sjr783 just for kicks.
  14. almost all my fishing anymore can be done with either a mh/m, a mh/f or a mh/xf. i like to keep things simple.
  15. died 14 years ago.
  16. try calling social security admin. it'll make you wish for anyone from new delhi.
  17. this probably has more to do with the quality of blank used rather than foregrip or no...have yet to find a no foregrip that offers my hands the sensitivity of a bcr glx. that said, would be interesting to fish a non-foregrip bcr glx to see the difference...however minimal.
  18. personally, out of those three, would pick the calais 100a. middle of the road ipt...buttery smooth power...by far the better caster. can't speak to the core 50.
  19. haven't used or needed one the past 3 years. that said, recently inherited a sustain from an old fishing buddy who passed way too soon...paired with an sjr783, it will soon find its use somewhere in the lineup...if for nothing else than honoring an old friend. other than that, i could easily live without one.
  20. did you change out the battery cables?
  21. have only broken 3 rods in my time...all three (falcon, abu and all star) were well within the warranty...all three warranty claims were denied. needless to say, i'll take the expeditor service...and, if that ever goes away, the cumara line would be hard to beat.
  22. her butt is the only thing that got her thru the last 14 of those 15 minutes.
