Brett Favre
ain't gotta clue as to what he'll do...he's been playing this drama queen question in the off season for a few years now. personally, think he shouldda took the packers up on that 10 year, $20 million offer to not show up. that said, love for the game is priceless.

Indy @ Sandy Eggo
kinda reminds me of what an old running buddy used to say... "if we had some bacon, we could have some bacon and eggs...if we had some eggs."

Talk about a movie that improves every time...
i watched the movie just for jessica beal. i muted everything else.

What is the best rod series out there regardless of price?
been using 'em for years and i've come to the same conclusion.

texas tech/ole miss...
Exactly... I will say this for Ole Miss. I've seen some very very good photos from The Grove on Saturdays. dupont just wishes they could make hooters that come naturally at the grove.

texas tech/ole miss...
If you're a recruiting expert, then you also know that Ole Miss isn't an easy place to recruit. Starkville and Oxford aren't exactly the garden spots of the SEC. That said, David Cutcliffe showed what was possible at Ole Miss. Of the two MS schools, Ole Miss is the better of the two. Houston Nutt did a fine job this season with Ed Orgeron's players. He consistantly kept Arkansas in the race for the SEC West. In summation, as I said earlier in this thread, Houston Nutt is a d**n fine football coach. i live 60 miles or so from ole miss...in another direction, i also live 60 miles or so from starkville. as far as football gardens, will agree with you...we kinda suck sec hindteat...as far as partying, well that's another story. bottom line, ole miss is an above average team that played with a helluva lotta heart. and heart is what houston nutt gave 'em.

topwater rod
when it comes to most working baits...poppers, chuggers, walkers and hard jerks...am also in the 6'6" mf boat with an mbr782. as well, an excellent choice for shallow and medium cranks.

next loomis to get?
the mbr 844 is a great rod...i prefer the bcr803 for plastics but, the 844 is just a tad better all-around, imo.
-
What Rod?
none of the above. bcr803.
-
Terminator Salvation
at least, the terminator in the third one had bigger boobs than arnold.
-

Steak anyone
i wanna hear the "moo".

berkely weigh scale help?
would call berkley, as well. don't buy a lotta their products anymore but, when i did, there was always somebody that would help you on the other end of the line.

Fins vs Ravens
now, i remember why i quit watching the dolphins in 98. things sure don't change much in a decade, huh?

next loomis to get?
i think you're on the right track as far as adding a cbr and an mbr/bcr. personally, if could choose only 3, would choose 3 of the most versatile. sjr782 cbr845 mbr844 the cbr845 will cover most topwater and cranks..you can cover a wider range of weights than the cbr783...the mbr844 will cover most blades and plastics and a wider range of weights than the bcr 803 and bcr 804...combined with the sjr782 for the smaller stuff, you can cover a lotta bases with just those three. since you've started with the 822, a more technique specific rod, i would seriously consider adding the cbr845 and the mbr844, giving you a m, a mh and a h...imo, that would give you the most amount of bullets with the least amount of guns. then, i would save up my money and get the bcr803.

Crankbait color/pattern choice
cold water...american shad. warm water...ghost sunfish. i could live well with these.

texas tech/ole miss...
speaking of talking heads... i vote we execute brent musburger.

Indy @ Sandy Eggo
from what i saw, the officials won that game more than san diego won that game. >

what brand flouro
don't really care for it on casters but, the bps xps seems to be a tad more limp than most other fluoros i've used. a good managable choice, imo, for spinners.
-
Fast vs. Extra Fast
i think natural gave an excellent answer...the power of an xf just seems to extend closer to the tip, making it better suited, imo, for driving single hooks home. the difference between setting the hook with an mbr (f) and a bcr (xf) is almost like night and day...a quick wrist-snap with a bcr is usually all it takes.

Low Tide?
will have to hand it to utah. they came to play...and never let up.
-
favorite spinning rod for 1/4oz jigs?
the 803 will be fine for those weights. imo, the bsr's and bcr's are understated as far as weight capabilities.
-
texas tech/ole miss...
congrats to the nutt and team ole miss for proving once more that an espn "football analyst" is just another dumbazz in a more expensive suit.
-
Favorite of 08'
zoom finesse...1/4 oz. gammie ballhead. they couldn't stay off it this year.
-
what rod/application do you use with your curado E?
e7 is on a bcr804...jigs, ol monsters, etc. e5 is on a cbr845...cranks, blades.
