  1. No, I don't agree with you. Me (and the Bait Monkey ) thoroughly enjoy reading their reviews. Tackle Tour may or may not have had an influence on a few of my tackle purchases :.
  2. The Metanium Mg's do feel great eh!
  3. Welcome to BassResource onex420! Where are you heading?
  4. Hello Dylan Van Tienen, I don't live far from you (about 20 mins South). I fish the Kawartha lakes a lot. 8-) You came to the right place. Welcome to BassResource!
  5. Yep, I've seen it a time or two.
  6. Yeah, my buddy and I were saying the same thing yesterday. Neither of us have received ours yet.
  7. Although, here are some links for you to check out: http://www.northlandtackle.com/Category/main.taf?cat=204 http://www.northlandtackle.com/Category/main.taf?cat=205 It says on there website: "A handy length to weight conversion scale also gives the weight of Crappie, Bass, Walleye & Northern Pike." Good luck!
  8. I have that reference card. I have no idea where you can find another (I don't even know where I got mine :-/). Sorry, I'm not much help to you.
  9. Yeah, I realize that he was using a shad. I was actually referring to hard swimbaits which are normally in the $40-$50 range and higher. But, no $6.00 isn't SO bad, but still sucks. I have lost many spinnerbaits to these toothy critters. ;D
  10. I have not experienced the fly-in fishing here in Ontario (I won't go in a plane :-[). If I can't trailer my boat or walk/hike into the lake, I won't be there. ;D Anyway, that's not much help to you, but I wanted to say welcome to BassResource.com!
  11. That is the Exact reason I am apprehensive about throwing them in my waters. We have some absolute monsters. $40 or $50 is a lot of coin to be throwing into a Muskies yap. :'(
  12. x2. Though, I mainly use my 51Mg for finesse applications. I have other reels to handle the heavier stuff.
  13. The United States is invading Canada, televised live at 6:00 EST. : ;D
  14. I'm not too sure. Why, what's goin' on Sunday? :-?
  15. I have both. I haven't been able to fish with my E7 yet as our lakes are frozen solid so take this FWIW. I use my 51Mg for finesse applications and my E7 will go on my flippin' stick. My 51Mg is smoother, quieter and lighter. The E7 feels quite a bit more powerful (HEG & Power Grips) as well as more rugged. What applications you will be using the reel for will dictate which one is better suited for you. Overall, the Mg is a nicer reel but they are both excellent IMHO. Good luck!
