  1. Yup, I've been eyeing up that sucker for a couple of weeks now.
  2. And don't cost much more, well worth the extra coin for the Kopper's. x2! I have some of the Live Target Yellow Perch (11/16 oz. 7'-10' & 9/16 oz. 3'-5') that worked great for me last year. Very nice baits, IMHO.
  3. Hello and welcome to BassResource.com Popperhead66!
  4. Congratulations!
  5. Survivorman -> Knowledge Man Vs. Wild -> Entertainment Definitely Survivorman if I had to choose.
  6. Yeah really . Let's hear it Burley. Wow...lighten up Francis :-?
  7. Thanks Frank. In fact, I viewed that article when it was first introduced. Actually, I posted the link thinking that Shimano had the Chronarch section of the web site complete (specs and such), but it looks like they've just started. :-[
  8. I just realized it doesn't show the specs. :-[ Oh well, I guess they'll be up soon.
  9. Definitely gettin' a couple of these bad boys: http://fish.shimano.com/publish/content/global_fish/en/us/index/products/reels/low_profile_baitcasting/chronarch.html
  10. Up here in the Great White North: ;D -14° C (6° F) It's finally warming up a bit! 8-)
  11. Our current temperature is - 21º C (- 5º F).
  12. No need to appologize to me. I was just tryin to point out that they are two different types of shows, although very similar they are doing two different things with them. Les' show is about trying to teach survival for normal people that could find themselves in more realistic situations, whereas Bear shows what happens and what you can do in more extreme/could happen but not likely situations. TheBeast is absolutely right. I enjoy watching both shows but I prefer Survivorman (if I had to choose) as it's more realistic and I feel Les Stroud does a fine job of explaining things of importance.
  13. I agree with the Shimano 50/51 Mg. I have a few myself and they are fantastic reels!
  14. Here ya go (I know it's a Daiwa, but it can be done ): http://daiwa.com/Rod/detail.aspx?ID=451 I just bought the TDZL701XHFB to match up with my Zillion 7.1 and it feels GREAT!
  15. I have a Shimano Saros F 2500 that has been absolutely stellar. This is what I'd recommend.
