I know when it comes to fishing rod sensitivity the lighter the better. My question is does it take away from the sensitivity if your reel is fairly heavy or should you match your lite rod with the lightest reel possible? for instance my kistler weighs 9.7 oz w/a pfluger supreme and 14.1 oz with a quantum energy. i could care less about my wrist getting fatigued but i don't want to lose any sensitivity.

3 days out fishing so far and NOTHING! I threw everything at them and they just were't biting.

i tried a chatterbait today MAN! DOES IT VIABRATE !

does anyone out there have a new fenwick elite tech spinning rod ? how do you like them ?

the loomis waranty has a feature that if you break your rod you send it to them and they will fix it. Their expiditor service is you send them $50.00 and they will send you a new rod , when you new rod comes you put ypur broken rod in the tube and send it back ,so for fifty bucks you have a new rod. NOW MY QUESTION IS if the rod you sent back just has a broken guide or somthing else small what do they do w/your old rod once it's fixed ?

i've never used a chatterbait , how are they used .Is it fished like a jig or more like a sponnerbait?

I forgot to mention one other thing , the mossyback is extreeeeeeeemly sensitive.

I have a g loomis bsr803 mossyback spinning rod I LOVE THIS ROD ! it's NOT a glx model but it's extremely sensitive it's by far my best rod i even like it better than my imx and my bronzeback ,has anybody tried this rod in the glx model is it that much better that it's worth 150.00 more than the reg. mossyback

I used to love stren easy cast it had ZERO MEMORY then they stopped making it so now i use sufix elite mono,

all my rods are 1 piece rods .i havent used a 2 piece since i was 15 y/o . i am looking for a sensitive 2 piece spinning rod 6'6" med action for around 100.00 i would appreciate any help . thanks

bps has the johnny morris elite 6'6" med spinning rod on sale for 109.00 for the 07 model, i think i'll grab one of those and buy a new reel with the leftover money.

the bps johnny morris elite is an extremely light and sensitive rod ,you will love it 199.00 for the 08 model and the web site has the 07 model for 109.00

yeah i already have an sjr 843 but i'm not crazy about the handle , i like the bronzback handle or some kind of split grip handle.

Well i wanted the legent tornament but there really isn't one thats all purpose they are all technique specific.

i have $250.00 to buy a new spinning rod i want 6'6"- 7' med action i fish sm & lg mouth bass and i use everything from spinnerbaits to senkos crankbaits and jigs so i am looking for an all around rod. what would you buy?

what do you mean groove the tip ? do you mean from wear? if so is that both braid and mono?

same jig but the mossyback had 10lb test suffix the kistler had 8lb test suffix .
