.Friday i tried my new steez spinningrod although i caught 8LMB in about 4 hrs i was somewhat dissapointed in the sensitivity compare to my mossyback (NON GLX) because i did miss a few fish ,Now This might sound like BS but it's not , saturday afternoon i grabbed my mossyback and went to the local resivoir , i was there about 40 min and caught 14 LMB biggest was 3.7 lbs smallest 2.3 lbs . i didn't lose any fish .In my opnion if i brought any other rod with me i don't think i would've landed 10 of those fish , the mossyback is that good. I guess i'm regretting buying the steez over a mossyback GLX or a bsr 852 senko rod. This is the second time i've strayed from loomis and i think i've learned my lesson this time I'll never stray again . Thank God i didn't pay full price for that steez. I have a g loomis bsr 803 mossyback it's MH action w/an x-tra fast tip and this season i've used it the least out of all my rods and i've caught the most fish w/it it's my favorite rod EXTREMELY SENSITIVE ! PS (IT'S A NON GLX MOSSYBACK)

I know i will probably get a lot of crap for this but here goes .I tried my new steez spinning rod today although it's a really nice rod and performs really well i fished nothing but senkos and got 8 small (1-2lb) lg mouth bass but i don't think it has the sensitivity my loomis mossyback bsr803 (non GLX) has. what has your experience been w/ these 2 rods

I just bought a steez stz681mlfsa spinning rod , i mounted a feugo 2500 reel w/ 6lb suffix elite . what would you use this setup for senkos, spinnerbaits, lipless crankbaits, jigs, etc.

I had the same problem w/my supreme , all i did was heat up the tab and bend the point of the tab closer to the spool , it hasn't happened since .

Scratches on a reel do bother me but they bother me a lot more when they are on one of my rods , mabey i'm anal but if it's a bad enough scratch i think it weakens the rod.

I love the way it feels but i have to buy a new reel for it , i was thinking a diawa feugo the steez reel is just too expensive. and tackletour tested the feugo on the steez rod and said that it was near perfect balance and a really nice set up.

I bought a steez rod and got the deal of the century it's aSTZ681MLFSA spinning rod for 309.00 tackle warehouse has it listed for 479.95 and basspro for 449.95 It was ordered for a customer and he never picked it up so they dropped the price a few times and i scored it for 309.00 NOT BAD HUH?

I asked the salesman why so cheap? and he told me they only stock the casting rods and this spinning rod special order for a customer that couldn't come up w/the money when it came in so they left it on the rack for 30 was a days and dropped the price that morning that i saw it , i just happened to be in the right place at the right time so i put 100.00 down on it.

OK GUYS BREAK IT UP ! I was planning on buying the rod my question was how does the foam handle hold up , every rod i've ever used w/a foam handle has cracked , dried up and fell apart or distorted. I know it hasn't been out for that long but will i have the same problem w/the steez

I was in a store today and found a diawa steez spinning rod model stz 681mlfsa for 309.00 new , i think i'm going to buy it but the question i have is that before i really got into using good gear i was an ugly stik man and i remember the foam grip getting all distorted after a while , is that going to happen w/the steez handle ?

You are not going to believe this BUT my new abu 702 lx started making a grinding noise while i was fishing today I AM NOT HAVING GOOD LUCK LATELY! so i took it back to BPS and all they had left was the 706 lx so i went back to the diawa tierra ,let's see how long this lasts.

I,m running suffix elite 8lb test mono , it casts like a dream. sunday i caught a 2lb bass and a 3 lb pickerel but nothing big yet.

mike bat st croix told me that the tube rod is the closest thing to an all purpose rod in that series that's pretty much why i went for it.

I bought the 7' tube rod and it's really sensitive w/slack line i can feel even tiny perch & bluegill tapping my senko , i will probably buy another one soon, mabey a dock skipper.

when i bought it i took it out of the box played w/the bail and it worked fine ,it's too bad because i really liked the reel i should never say never because i will probably try another one.

I bought a sustain a few years back and although it was an ok reel it wasn't worth the 229.00 it cost , in fact the only reason i bought it is because the new models were comming out and it was on special for 99.00. yesterday i tried a new stradic 159.95 , it felt really nice and high quality so i bought it. This morning i took it fishing my 1st cast w/a 20.00 lucky craft pointer minnow the bail closed on it and snapped my line , after i got my lure back i took a few more casts the bail wouldn't lock in the open position and just flopped around ,so i took it back to BPS and got a new abu garcia 702 lx (on sale for 59.95 reg. 109.95) so far so good BUT I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER SHIMANO PRODUCT AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!

I STARTED THE SPINNINGROD POLL SO WHY NOT REELS.

It sounds like a lot of people haven't been happy w/ shimano lately?

that's the reel i wanted but they didn,t have any in stock, i would order it but i'd like to try it on the rod before i buy it.

i have 2 supremes and 1 tierra and they are unbelievable reels for the money but i was at bass pro the other day and fell in love w/the cardinal 800 the 700 lx is really nice too. the 700 lx was on sale for 59.00 reg 109 .00 but it was in store only they don't even have them on their website , the only reason i didn't buy one is they only had the 702 (really small) and the 706 (too big) the 704 would have been perfect. PS my supremes are the 8035 ihave one on loomis bronzeback and the other on my mossyback.

WHAT IS YOUR FRAVORITE BRAND OF SPINNING ROD AND WHY ?
