  1. My neighbor has the Harley (might even be the same year) which is basically a 4 door version of the ligtning. It's a little heavier and one of the pulleys sizes is changed giving it about 40 less HP I beleive. Both he and his wife love the truck. Last summer I was helping him find some parts and did alot of reading about both trucks. People that own them seem to love them. The one thing I can say is I do see less and less of them now. No idea why. I'm not sure if he's still around but I do believe that member Lightninrod has or had one.
  2. Hey I'm sure you seen this before but check this link out. You might be able to find a Federation Nation Club near you. http://www.ilfednation.com/BFN-Club-Locator.htm
  3. UICdent11 is right all the preprofessional courses are pretty similar. I can add that even the pharmacy ones are almost the same as med school. That's what I was finding with all my friends doing premed while I was doing prepharmcay. Only real difference depending on the school might be a few extra bio classes. Word of advice start checking out the requirements for the different med/dental schools you are looking at now. I'm not sure if it is the same as pharmacy but I know if I would have applied to certain schools I would have needed a few different courses.
  4. T-Mobile might be cheaper but, in Chicago AT&T seems to get better reception. Just a thought from when I'm out with my friends.
  5. Good point. The battery goes quick if you start playing around with it.
  6. By far the best phone I've had or played with. I'd also say its gets the best reception of any phone I've had or better than my friends. Pretty good inside buildings too so definitely good in Chicago, so thats a plus for you. Can't comment on it for business but with all the applications and ease of use I can't see how it wouldn't be good. It's quickly becoming one of the most popular phone in the pharmacy college. I've also been seeing them with pharmacists when I go to my site visits. Hope that helps and let me know if you have any other questions.
  7. Hey guys they still haven't been able to get anything changed yet in Chicago. There have been groups that were pushing for it but nothing has come up yet. Something about concealed carry or handgun ownership comes up pretty much every week or other week. As the laws stand right now all handguns/guns must be registered in the city. However, I believe back in the 70's they stopped taking registration on all new handguns. So it basically comes down to you could probably buy one but since it can't be registered it would be illegal. But any type of long gun as it states is pretty much ownable. I do believe there is a limit to the shot capacity of them. Not entirely sure as I haven't looked that closely lately. They are also pushing for the state to have concealed carry because along with WI we are the only state not to have some form. But, once again Chicago is applying alot of resistance. Our great politicians are basically the only ones offering opposition.
  8. I was just at a range in MI on Wednesday and they had a 5 box limit on all ammo. But, consider yourselves lucky. Atleast you guys can own handguns. Here the fine city of Chicago sees to it that we can't. However, just go the distance of 1 house outside the city and you can.
  9. I've actually seen that a few other malls before except it never said anythign about arrests. Weirdest place place I've ever been like that was a bowling alley. Not even the bar area which is kinda seperated. Certain nights of the week they card you to make sure you are over 16 or 18, I forgot which one.
  10. Mines been on for 4 or 5 years now and its shows no signs of coming off. I know people who have had them on even longer. So I'd say the adhesive is pretty good. As was pointed out, it shouldn't be in the water when you are running so there should be effect on performance.
  11. Not 100% sure about why they don't run those brands but I do believe there is a 250HP limit atleast in BASS.
  12. Welcome. What dental school are you at? If it's UIC maybe we can meet up to go fishing one of these days as I'm over at the pharmacy college.
  13. Hey I hit alot of the lakes in Allegan and Van Buren counties.
  14. Sounds like you are right where you really want to be. Generally right now its considered a very decent level of strength to do about 1.5 times your body weight or 225lbs. I literally just reread this today. Obviously this depends on your bodyweight and how tall you are. I'm sure some people will tell me I'm wrong but the shorter you are the easier it's gonna be to lift heavier. You will generally be moving the weight a much shorter distance because your arms are shorter. You are just built better for it. While yes a longer lever(your arms) make lifting heavy stuff easy you don't have a joint(elbow) in the middle of it.
  15. Yeah I did mean the open house thats always on Easter weekend. Hopefully I'll make it Firday but I do plan on getting up for Saturday. Maybe I can finally meet you there this year.
  16. Squid are you gonna be at the spring show? I think I'll actually be able to make that this year.
  17. Hey how's it going? I too fish all over Allegan and Van Buren counties during the summer.
  18. Leo some of the rivers are open. Atleast in a few spot. Owell guess I'll have to wash the car instead. Muddy, haven't been the but taking the train everyday more or less right past Buddy Guy's place. I think I see the back of it. However, I did see him at the Blues or Jazz festival.
  19. Welcome man. I'm not from Michigan either but I spend alot of time fishing the lakes in the SW.
  20. First place I would start is to check your form. Even though you've been deadlifting for awhile you may have been distracted or something. It's just a thought especially if it went away quickly and didn't happen again.
  21. Hey Muddy I'm sure you've done this at some point, but write everything you do down. Atleast try it with what ever exercise you do. Keep a log of how much, how long, etc. Has made a huge difference for me in the gym. Makes you see what you do, not what you think you do. Helped remotivate me many times because I could look back and see where I was getting lazy. Also, I hear keeping a food log is extremely valuable. We're supposed to keep logs as fishermen, what's one more? Either way best of luck keeping up with what ever you decide to do.
  22. First this is no way a religious post. I got to to thinking as I'm sitting here at work (church rectory) isn't it always interesting who you see at mass on Chirstmas Day or Eve? Sometimes it's people you haven't seen all year or for years. Kinda adds some excitement to see who you will spot. Got inspired to post this as I was spreading salt by the doors and saw a guy I went to gradeschool. I don't think I've seen him at all in the last 5-8 years.
  23. Yeah it's quite unproductive working at a church. I usually just answer the phone and unlock/lock the church. Every once and awhile I open the door. It's nice during school because I can study but right now it just drags. I do work tomorrow for a few hours and Christmas Eve is always fun because I have people calling me mam or father. My favorite are the old ladies that ask about our Easter mass schedule.
  24. I doubt they will ever disappear. As long as their are small shows in coffee shops their will be brushes. If their are guys playing jazz there will be brushes. They will never have a place in loud music but they are a necessary tool. If a drummer knows how to use them that is one more tool he can use to get a gig. Again it probably won't be with a hard rock band but they have their place. Currently you can see things like Hot Rods that I feel evolved from brushes to offer one more sound and a bit more volume.
  25. I actually had a teacher just show us this video 2 days before our final. He said he didn't have alot of faith in the male population so he felt he needed to show it. The entire time he was talking it seemed liek he was speaking from experience.
