Fishing with bluegill
Its legal in CT to use bluegill Illegal to use bass and trout Bass hit bait from behind then turn it around in their mouth and swallow head first. I have seen a dead 4 lb. bass with a big bluegill in its mouth that got stuck. Yes heavy equipment and swing for the fence after a 10 count or so. Hook the bluegill in the mouth Use a bobber to keep fish off bottom if weedy Just like Avid said

flippin' n pitchin'
I agreed. If you are flipping and pitching more accurately with a spinning rod than with a baitcaster, your baitcasting skills need a little work. You still can get pretty accurate with a spinning rod, just not as accurate as a baitcaster. Thank you---well said

slight problem any help?
I meant in my last reply to tie the snap to your line, then quick snap to your lure without a split ring Or a snap without a swivel I hope this helps--I hate going to the bank to get another rod when you can just walk upsteam in the water http://www.tackletour.com/reviewultimateluresaver.html

try replacing the split ring on both lures with the qiuck change teardrop shaped ring (sorry, I don't know the name of it yet) So 1 rod, 2 lures, 5 second lure change
