  1. Great ideas and since you have 5-6 of them do a couple different styles and see which produces the most and biggest. Like tying a couple branches to one and a bunch on another Then report back to us in a couple months....We love scientific studies. Are you gonna put them in deeper water off shore so no one else can find them? Are you also gonna position them on migration routes and near deep water?
  2. thanks for havin my back WRB I still haven't broken 6lbs yet but I'm still trying Like Ike says "NEVER GIVE UP"
  3. Does anyone know a fellow angler in Orlando area that can help me out?

  5. I'd say 12-15' is a safe start for vert fishin
  6. If the moon gets bright enough, will it melt ice? I do in the summer. And my club has one night event every year (11pm-7am)...it never falls on a full moon but it makes for a bad Sunday
  7. I wait for time to pass so I can cast again
  8. Nope, I have no quirks. What I do is definately normal. (for me) Oh yeah I do have one---when the fish aren't biting I say "Here fishy fishy" :-?

  11. Wow!!! I've never seen such a thing. sooooo sad-all those monsters :'( :'( :'( :'(.............................
  12. No, the points are only within the club. Its just that bed fishing up north here is so easy to bring in a big bag. Guess I'm just mad that other clubs get to do it and we don't.
  13. fishizzle posted a topic in Bass Clubs
the Tournament director in my club is against bed fishing. He makes the annual schedule and avoids the spawn based on lake temp. So we fish shallow lakes after spawn and deep lakes before spawn. I do agree with his thought process but heres the problem: If we don't fish that lake on that weekend another club gets that spot. We register all events with the state so 2 clubs won't be fishing the same small lake. Either way the beds get disturbed. Anyone have any thoughts on this for next year
  14. I stock up on lures in the winter to satisfy my fishing craving, then in the spring I wonder why I bought all these gimmicks -thin wallet
  15. The wind pushes plankton downwind, then the bait follows, then the bass follow. Try reaction lures Also consider temperature, the windy water will be cooler and the bass may be in a temp phase of spawning and perfer warm protected water. Good luck ps-taking time off doesn't sound like the best idea
  16. They should return, every year seasonal patterns vary based on water temps Hopefully there were no major changes to your lake like pollution or LMB virus :-/ Good Luck
  17. Oh forget it, theres a cold front coming for another week. :'( :'( :'(
