  6. 3/8oz mostly but have a arsenal of 1/4oz through 1 1/4 oz.
  7. i use mine (humminbird 787c2i) to find dropoffs, creekchannels, brush piles and underwater hydrilla or eel-grass. i took me a while before understanding which grass is which but now it's a major tool for pattern fishing offshore structure. a little portable one should be just fine finding dropoffs and maybe some grass.
  8. yeah, i don't see why you couldn't get a one. i have a sponsor(Harris Chain Bait and Tackle) and im only 22 years old and still in college. (granted i used to work there) Many of the people he sponsors didn't work there but spend alot of money there and wouldn't go anywhere else. he doesn't help me with tourny fees, only gives me 40% off on products!(good enough for me) and in return i try my best to spread the word about his business, wearing his shirts and stickers on my truck and just promoting his store at tournaments or when im just out fishin.(still work there once in a while when he needs a day to go fishin) I only do this because this is truly THE ONLY tackle shop i go to.(he can get me anything from bass-pro) so my advice is go after something business/product u believe in and it'll be way easier to get a sponsor.

  18. Lake Seminole shouldn't be too far for ya. It's a great lake with big fish chillin' in the hydrilla!
  19. i've fished Hartwell, someone told me they're somewhat similar. i did good finding a little bit darker water and targeted brush piles in 6-10ft. with a shaky-head trick or finesse worm (watermelon candy or pumpkin i used) i had to really pick them apart slowly- sometimes the bass wouldn't bite it for eternity, but they're there. also picked up some fish with a lipless crank on a steep point near a creek channel. good luck.
  20. haha that's a dream! i'd love to take it hunting...especially for those pesky hogs. oooo better yet small game season is here ;D
  21. a hound fish (giant needle fish) and i got to swim with a 30ft. whale shark
