MOST of my pet peaves are legit and one of my biggest is people who repeatedly say "you know what I'm sayin?" after every sentence. If most of those people had communication skills they wouldn't have to ask if we knew what they were saying.

I fish Tappan every year with great results when I pick when we go. Tournaments can be tricky there when scheduled and conditions aren't right. Clendening is a 10hp lake and I haven't been there in about 15 years but, it is a good fishery.

I have never fished Oxbow and Seneca lake is in Southeast Ohio. I don't have my map books in front of me but, the biggest lake in Ohio is out west. Grand Lake St. Marys' at 10,000 acres is big for here and is a decent fishery. Northwestern Ohio kinda lacks quality lakes. N.E., S.E, and S.W. Ohio has many clusters of good lakes that produce good bass. The northwest corner has the least tournies for that reason. When the date gets closer post again and maybe we can meet up at Erie or another lake worth fishing. Why come here and not try to catch some Erie smallies? We are nowhere near the size of Texas you could be on the other side of the state in a couple of hours and on the fish.

The sickle hooks are pretty good for worms. I haven't broken any. I usually use Eagle Claw auto rotating hooks with worms but, not Senkos. I use a wide gap Gamakatsu or Owner for them. My brother-in-law uses them (sickle hooks) and is very pleased with them for texas rig applications.

Man they have a couple great color combos I wonder why they never caught on?

I am looking for a couple of Matzuo spinnerbaits in a specific color pattern. I heard they were not making them for very much longer. Does anybody have a link to where I can find them without buying in bulk? I found the ones I was searching for but they only sell them in bulk wholesale.

NASCAR to me is booorrriiinnnnggg ! I would much rather watch drag racing ,open wheeled F-1 or CART, or rally racing. I guess the experience off be AT a NASCAR is something special. A couple of guys at work go to At least a couple races a year and claim "You have to be there". I have to admit though I have watched a race all the way though but, only after I got a 50" hdtv and a 7.1 surround sound system. That made it somewhat watchable but not enough to bring me back. I have never cared for NASCAR so I don't really have an opinion on their transition to FOX.

When I am shopping for gear or tackle I already know what I want or need. The sales people are immediately met with a "yes I am finding what I need thanks". I have found that most salesmen/employees will try to get info from you while trying to give you B.S. that you should already know about. The Internet is the easiest non-chatting way to find everything you need. Even though I still must visit tackle shops every couple weeks during the fishing season.

2003 GSXR 600 for $3500. Absolutely beautiful bike. Retailed at the time I bought it for $5700. Previous owner lowered it 2", put a new header,carbon fiber muffler, K&N air filters and had the computer recalibrated. So he put over $1500 in aftermarket parts on it then he decided it was a little too much of a rocket for him.

The reason I say that about the Guida fight is this. Diaz is a Jiu Jitsu fighter and even on his back or with his face against the cage. He mantained wrist control, which is key. I will say Diaz did nothing spactacular but he didn't let Guida punish him like he should have been able to from those positions. Off topic Jon Jones would had K.O.ed anybody who had a lesser chin than Bonnar. Stefan was impressive in they way he did not go down to shots that would have dropped most. I would bet Dana and the Fertittas were ticked this card was sooooo lame. If it were a Pride fight there would have been a whole lot of money taken away from the fighters for "non performance".

I called the GSP fight on here last week. I also said he would embarras him. He did. The Guida fight was called wrong. He was agressive but not controlling Diaz. And he got his butt whooped bigtime in the 3rd. IMO. The Karo Parisyan fight was also called wrong. Again IMO. Over all it was a dull card.

Yeah this pretty much makes my job sometimes unbearable. I am not gonna complain though Muddy. It is beautiful! Nature at it's finest. Also at it's &%##%* worst.

I ain't complaining. I have lived here for 33 years and have no desire to move. I really love the seasons! Can't really snowboard in a swamp. It gives a real break from open water fishing by force.

I can usually keep the snow off my boat with a leaf blower but I woke up to this yesterday. We got hammered with that storm. 14+ inches of the white stuff. I know hurricanes roll through the south but , you usually get a couple weeks to prepare. We knew some snow was coming but, it was worse than we thought it would be.

Thats funny! I jumped out of my chair and yelled holy crap! When my wife and daughter saw it from the other room they said IS THAT REAL? I said yes, they had to get in the room before they could tell it was not. I can't imagine our cat scratching my T.V.s or computer monitor like that.

I don't know about the GSP - Fedor comparison they are two very different type fighters. Here is a name to watch out for at 170. Ryan "The Lion" Madigan. He is a friend of mine and was supposed to be on the 170 TUF but, he blew out his knee and had to have surgery. He throw kicks faster than most can throw their fists. He is a beast. He fights at UFC 96 in Columbus, Ohio VS Ben Saunders. I will be surprised if that fight goes past two minutes. Here is his highlight reel.
