Fedor Emelianenko VS Andrei Arlovski
Thats funny! He does sound robotic but, I just don't think Penn has the speed or strength to pull it off. I know he has the skill but, at 170 GSP is gonna hold it down. I am a fan of both.

Fedor Emelianenko VS Andrei Arlovski
At 145 Faber is the man! I have seen a few of his fights I was certain he was gonna lose and he pulled off victories. I would love to see Fedor come through and electrify the UFC as heavyweight fight there are usually dull. I just don't believe Dana and crew think he is worth all the B.S. to get him. More off topic. I have pulled for Rashad Evans since he was on the HW TUF. I am happy to see him be the 205 champ he has had the most dramatic improvement out of any fighter in the sport. IMO Even More off topic. I don't see the GSP-Penn rematch going 5 again either. Penn has said something along the lines of GSP is a p---y for tapping to Matt Hughes. I think that will just fuel the St. Pierre fire. IMO all the belts besides the HW are at the right home for now. Geeze we could start discussion about the animal known as Anderson "The Spider" Silva if you want. He owns 185 division.

Need Some Serious Help!!Any Advice accepted
Yes you need a 12 volt deep cycle battery and a charger. Here is the best advice I can give you DON'T BUY A CHEAP BATTERY!!! And unless you have a very small boat buy a more powerful trolling motor as well.

Fedor Emelianenko VS Andrei Arlovski
Well Arlovski at least made himself look somewhat viable. What I had to rewind over a few times was the part from when the announcer says " it looks like Arlovski may have Fedor flustered". About 15 seconds later Arlovski was sleeping. What makes Fedor great is he just looks like a random guy who may be in a bar pounding back shots of vodka but, like Fourbizz says he is a very humble man who just happens to beat the crap out of everybody he faces. The UFC doesn't really need him to make a ton of money. They are deep in talented fighters. If and when the Affliction series fails and he does come to the UFC he will fight a couple "on their way out" fighters then have a shot at the belt and take it. I don't think Brock Lesnar will beat Frank Mir for the belt and just think Lesnar is a way to draw people over from "professional wrestling". I wil call another tap out at the Mir-Lesnar rematch right now.

Fedor Emelianenko VS Andrei Arlovski
This fight is tomorrow Jan. 24. Fedor is unbeaten in 28 fights and has 1 no decision. Arlovski has 14 wins and 5 losses. Personally I think Fedor is going to destroy Andrei. Even though I like Arlovski, Fedor is just a machine.

s Man vs wild
Even though Bear has a camera crew it says in the disclaimer that they are prepared for the climate and Bear is not. I mean come on he drank his own pee man!!! Bear teaches survival and ways to find civilization, basically rescueing himsef most times. Survivor man teaches survive until you are found methods more. Bears set up demonstraitions are also aknowleged in the disclaimer. He go out of his way to teach. And he is just light years more entertaining than survivor man. By the way Suvivorman carries a SPOT gps locater. Check out by looking at the new bas pro catalog.

Wish the Eagles would have won...
I believe helmet to helmet contact is legal in the NFL as long as the defender makes bodily contact first. It's easy for me to see both players were lowering their shoulders for the impact. The helmet contact was secondary. I hate the Steelers but that was a legal hit. Not in college or high school but, in the NFL it is. That is two big boys colliding at a very high rate of speed something had to give. Mcgahee is going to recover 100%.

Autopilot?
When you put your trolling motor on constant and try and point it in one direction it WILL NOT track strait. The autopilot will find a target and track that path, depending on the model you can also have depth track, shore track and creek track. I wouldn't mind having autopilot but, they are to delicate for my type of fishing. One trip across Erie would problably destroy the unit.

These guys are absolutely nuts!
My wife and I were at a red light and two similiar white wrx's pulled up. I asked the guy beside us who was faster cuz they had track markings on their windows. He said since we both ran 10.2 today I would say we are pretty even. Their only mods were larger turbos, an aftermarket exhaust and recalibrated computers. After wifeys car is payed off this summer. I am gonna try and get her into one. Right now she has a Galant GTZ and it's pretty quick but not 10.2 quick. I have a Tahoe and it's not the quickest anything but it's fun in the snow. And right now we have over a foot of the white stuff everywhere but the roads. the side streets here have a good 4 inches of compacted snow but, main roads are clear. Yeah, watch a few of the Ken Block vids. 530 horsepower all wheel drive. I need a toy like that. I guess my boat is alot of fun though!

Charlie Ingram's Show
The absolute worse is Babe. He seems like a truley nice guy but, the cooking segment at the end with his wife is often enough to make me puke in my mouth!

These guys are absolutely nuts!
I also saw a "most horrible" type show where a base jumper didn't get enough clearance and off the face of the cliff and when his chute opened it pretty much slung him into the jagged rock. Dead. Not a cool move. Bizz have you seen the video of the guy trying to set the downhill speed record on a carbon fiber mountain bike? He had on a shiny red suit and helmet. Somebody obviously forgot to tell him about carbon fiber characteristics and the bike broke at the gooseneck at about 100 MPH. He lived but he sure got jacked up!

Bass do learn!!! they are smarter then you think Read this
Agreed. Kinda I think. I haven't fished a pond or any other super small body of water in a long, long time. What I have done is spent countless hours on Erie and a few other clear lakes and watched myself and friends fish for fish we could see. Or in water that you could watch a fish trailing a crank, jerkbait or other swimming lure. Not one would act the same as the other. I was standing next to my brother-in-law we both cast to the same general area and were retrieving our cranks, he said check it out. I looked and there were 8-10 smallies following his just then from nowhere a fish outside the group smashed his lure, the others disappeared and no more than 3 winds later I also had a fish on. Was it from the group of followers? I don't know I stopped paying attention to my bait for those seconds. Things like this have happened numerous times and for the most part try to talk with conviction only of what I know. For my age I would be willing to bet my time on the water and in the woods is comparable with any hardcore non-guiding sportsman and way beyond average. With the exception of this past year. I have seen things I can't explain or even guess why they happened and I have also made predictions of certain events based on prior similiar events that have went down exactly as I thought they would. Then other predictions that went completely the opposite way.

Deer are stupid in a different way. Their brains are more developed than a fish. However a deer has no idea it is actually being hunted. It just realizes intrusion into it's territory. Whether it be you, me, a wolf, a bear or whatever it uses it's superior sense of smell, and low light level vision to evade a PREDATOR. Which then puts predator/prey into effect which is all a part of it's "nature". I was hunting with my friend and shot a doe at 15 yards during gun season with a muzzloader when the smoke cleared there stood 4 other does that were with her, my friend shot another. Point being, the other deer had no clue as to what had just happened. After the second one was down the others ran no more than 40 yards loosely regrouped and then acted as if the whole event had not happened. I have another instance I shot on video of the same friend shooting another deer in the same situation with similar results this time one of the deer actually ran strait towards us, then turned went through a thicket regrouped with it's friends and carried on their way in no hurry. And the big buck thing is more of a point of bucks in general being highly territorial and not social in any way to anything, with the exception of summer when they will sometimes form bachelor groups for reasons I cannot recall right now. And the reason for the daytime disappearance is generally because that is when humans are most active.

These guys are absolutely nuts!
Even though the guy who created the first "flight" suit died in when his chute failed, that is about as bad assed of a sport as it gets. when you jump out of a plane you fall strait down like a rock. With these suits they fly like 3-5 miles. If I didn't have a family I would love to try it or even a simple base jump for that matter, but my daughter needs fed and provided for more than my adrenaline junkie self needs the rush.

Bass do learn!!! they are smarter then you think Read this
Just my $.02. Bass are not intelligent but, are very instinctive. Every living creature has some sort of short term memory. Some must be shorter than others because a bass will sometimes repeatedly hit lures and be hooked, get off, and come back after THE SAME LURE. Most noticeably to me are jerkbaits and smallmouth which on Erie you can watch em come up, smash the lure, get played, get off, and come right back after the lure. To me this has always seemed the instinctive behavior of not wasting effort. I pitch "creature" baits that look alien to fish that are off and running before I turn my reel handle. This to me has always seemed to be instinctive behavior also either of a defensive or hunger/hoarding position. Never in my fishing have I thought a bass or any other fish to have ANY level of "RATIONAL THOUGHT". You would like to think that these fish that fool you are "SMART" but, they are wild animals that must kill, eat, and react to nature by using instinct not thought. You are just a part of their nature. Do you really think a fish that can feel sound pressure doesn't hear your trolling motor, waves slapping your hull or the ping of your sonar? Like most other wild creatures, bass use instinct over every other sense they may have.

Who Will Win The Super Bowl?
Arizona is hot. Pittsburg is Pittsburg. Fitzgerald will not be contained or if he is it will take away at least 3 defenders, opening up holes all over the field for Hightower to run. The Edge is still there. Maybe it's just the Buckeye in me but I forsee a huge upset. My hope is the Cardinals 30- The Burg 10. I just don't think as good as a Defense Pittsburg has, it can keep Warner and crew contained.

Black or Grey carpet ?????
My brother-in-law and I have the same boat Triton tr-20s of the same year with the same grey carpet. My boat is white with a black cherry stripe. His is dark blue with a silver stripe. Just the color of the boat makes quite a difference. There is so much more heat attracted to his boat when you step off one on to the other you can immediatly feel the difference. We actually have done this on a hot flat Lake Erie day. While I can touch my fiberglass it stays relatively cool, his will burn you. I am from northern Ohio and wouldn't even entertain the thought of black carpet.

Charlie Ingram's Show
I am getting to the point of not liking ANY fishing show. Nowadays they are more like infomercials.

what rod do you use for smallmouth fishing?
I don't use any specific rod for smallies. I use specific rods for certain baits. Would I change out a rod to fish a crankbait to target smallies over largemouth? No. The same applies to any other technique. And I know I will get some heat for this but G.Loomis rods are good but not worth the coin they ask for them. There are other rods with similar characteristics with more comfortable handles, better guides, etc. for less. And I think technique specific is very important but, bass species specific is a complete gimmick used by G.Loomis. I would buy a Johnny Morris Elite Series or Browning Midas over a G.Loomis ANY DAY!

Cabin Fever!!!! Can't wait till spring!! Trying out Presque Isle this spring!!
I have a snowboard and ain't afraid to use it! I have lived in Ohio for most of my 33 years. Call me a weirdo but, I like snow. Even though I didn't get to fish as much as I wanted to this year because of reasons beyond my control. I think that and this snow is stoking up a real good fire for this coming season!! I find my self on here less lately. That may be a good thing for me. Southern boys are problably already fishing pre-spawn patterns and I don't want them thinking we are suffering too much!

Environmental Impacts of Fishing-please read and give input!
I agree with Wayne. PETA is great at pointing out our flaws . Just go fish! If you are really environmentally conscious use the tungsten and biodegradable baits. I personally use tungsten but, not so much for environmental reasons

Bama spot
Nice fish!!! It's not supposed to even reach 0 degrees tomorrow here!!! Forcast is for -15 when I wake up. Cool huh!

Presque Isle Bay Smallies
ANY LARGE HARBOR ON LAKE ERIE!!! Some of them can be many hundreds if not thousand of acres in size. Many contain tributaries.
