  1. Does anyone know of a really good trolling motor battery. I used Duralast last year and was wondering if someone had a better choice. I have used the Optima batteries and was not impressed with them. Also, how often do you switch out your TM batteries. I'm getting a little over a year.
  2. Not that I like the dirty cork, I don't understand cleaning them.
  3. I didn't like it when it first came out. Didn't hold up well, I was re-spooling because of breaks.
  4. I've only used MK's but I think both are about the same.
  5. Those were some nice fish. Wish we had smallies around here.
  6. Good job, I always hate to see any kind of fish dead, maybe not all fish. Do you know if that fish was previously caught.
  7. Fish, those are the days that you have to push yourself to the water. Sometimes if I'm not meeting up with someone at the ramp, I don't feel like going, especially if it's 30 degrees and raining but I go anyway. I know the fishing is going to be tough but I go. Good luck.

Idk, I want to fish with one and then I will make my mind up.
  9. It will be warm soon, guys. Hang in there
  10. What are friends for? funny If it took me a forever, I would get him back.
  11. I agree and have to add the soft frog baits
  12. Horny toads work well around here too. The early morning frog bait on this lake I know was a blast all summer last year. It's starting to pick up
  13. x2, going to have to try the cavitron and the squeeky dolpin. Big fan of Reaction Inn. products.
  14. Just wondering what you guys would consider the Lake Fork Live Shad?
  15. That's a nice one.
  16. You just gotta love em.
  17. Thank you and to everyone else, It's one of those things where you know that people care but when you are out in one of those third world countries and feeling like you are getting the big green weenie from day to day, crazy stuff shot through your head.
  18. Don't it make you sick?
  19. Welcome aboard and thanks for supporting our troops. Coming from someone whose been there, when you are in the armed forces sometimes you wonder if anyone really cares. Good luck on your career and there are a lot of great people here.
  20. Zoom, those fish may be gone by summer. I can see to spots that I like. The 8ft hump at the north end and the bottom left corner because of the deep water close to the bank. Those fish may move up to feed early morning on top-water and then move back of shore during the day. Start at the east corner and parallel the bank with top-water baits.
  21. Southern English but in New York? I don't understand lol
  22. I like both colors, sometimes i will use spike-it-dye on the tail of the watermelon seed when bass are feeding on gills in the rivers.
  23. Thanks, enjoyed that. Confidence is a big key.
  24. Yeah, a friend and I share secrets on this lake and he showed me a great one last year and I'm waiting for it to start this year. The early morning frog bite is unreal. Can't say anymore, people maybe watching.
  25. It depends on the lake. Some lakes aren't known for large limits of large bass.
