  1. Welcome aboard, will have to give you guys a try.
  2. I think it will be hard to limit it to just one state. I believe states with warmer climates year round have the potential to see large fish compared to Cali.
  3. Welcome ab
  4. Glad to know you are making it back safe. Texas Roadhouse and pick up some of those 4 1/2 inch Lake Fork Live Shads. BPS carry them now.
  5. Yeah, thanks for the Monday morning laugh.
  6. From my understanding of the pic above is the main arch is from a fish nearly directly under the transducer. The arch to the right is from a fish to the right further away from the center of the cone of the transducer.
  7. Can't help you on your question but welcome aboard
  8. Welcome aboard and be ready to get to know the baitmonkey real well. What type of water are you going to fish.
  9. No, I don't fish every day, only about 1 to 2 times a week. Over the course of the year, i will abuse it. The current on the river here can be strong and with old batteries you want last long. For the past 6 to 7 years I have had to replace batteries each year.
  10. Post count means nothing for me. I spend a lot of time on here because work is easy. I use to be a police officer in a gang unit, now I'm sitting behind the desk regulating taxi and tow truck companies because of an enlarged heart. This site help me through the day.
  11. I'm asking here because I'm trying to find pepole that fish the same style as I do. I'm trying to find out how do they change trolling motor batteries. I was told that for the amount of fishing, you need to change batteries ever year. I fish lakes and tidal rivers. Also, if you know of a good battery, please feel free.
  12. I fish clubs and opens. Now that I'm healthy enough and no more about my limitations, I'm ready for bigger tourneys.
  13. Nothing like the first one, enjoy.
  14. Thanks, Surfer and Jig, I have been told that for the amount of time that someone like me spend on the water that it's normal to replace batteries once a year. Wan't to know if that is accurate?
  15. She has bragging rights over you. You want be able to live it down, now.
  16. That's not a real fish. Just joking. Can't say enough about how lucky you are to be able to fish water that produce hogs like that.
  17. Made me realize what a treat I have to be able to fish year round.
  18. That sucks, wish things could have been different for you guys. At least you got to meet with some of the people of BR.
  19. I hear ya, It's been in the 70's the past few days and on saturday 59. I know this lake and it will be tough but I'm fishing. I'm going to catch fish, I just can't throw the baits that I had planned on all week.
  20. Welcome to the boards. Good luck on the tourney. Do you have any idea of what the boater is going to use.
  21. I use to fish with a friend and he would brim fish while I bass fished. Sometimes we would come across 5 to 6lb LMBs and I would free line a hand size brim to the fish. I tried smaller brim but they would not eat them. I used a regular 4/0 WG hook.
