painting with Rustoleum
Arctic cat, that is what I used on my boat. I put 3 coats on and its looks great. I didn't buy real expensive paint because I know it will get scrached up and tractor paint will be easy to find when I need more for touch up.

painting with Rustoleum
Rustoleum aluminum primer is great stuck to the boat no problem,But the oil base paint is a diffrent story. I painted it and after 3 days of dring time I was going to two tone the boat as I was tape the boat I had to remove some tape and the paint peeled So I had to lightly sand the whole boat. I repainted the boat with valspar paint from tractor supply and it turned out great .Hope this helps.

I have an old memphis belle made by the Guy Barnette co. inc in Memphis tennessee. It is a great boat but I dont know the year but a few old guys to me they thought it to be a late 50 to mid 60 model it also has a 1958 johnson 7.5 on it. It should be out of the shop by mid week and on the water soon.

Would this paint work?
I used the rustoleum primer for aluminum and the rustoleum paint, I thought it would work because both products made by the same company but the paint didn't stick for what ever reason I havent figured it out yet. So I repreped the boat and went to tractor supply and got tractor paint and it worked great.
