Yukon is about 1/4 of a mile away from the public launch at the north end on the west side diagonally across from Big sister's island. I here ya, can't wait to get there myself! It must be awesome to have your own house on the lake.

I've got my first club T on 4/27 at Mashpee/Wakeby but only fished it a few times 3 years ago. A cold front moved in the week before the T and made for a tough day! I here it has some monsters in it so I'm hoping the up coming warm weather stays w/us..

Nice report and heck of a job catching that many fish w/the H20 in the 40's. I was at a near cape pond with very similar conditions throwing suspendings,silver buddy's and jigs. Lost a monster Smallie on the jig around 12:30 and not another bite for the rest of the day. Again nice job out there!

Not trshing RW at all,it was definetely cool to get out and shake off the cobwebs. I have also heard of some heavy weight coming in from there and hope this coming weeks of temps in the 50's gives-em a jump start. Thanks for the invite Russ very much appreciated. What time are you going tomorrow? I thought there was a T there Sunday? I was planning on hitting the Smallie pond but some place closer to home sounds better once the chill thaws and I can feel my fingers again .

First time fishing this body of water and conditions were a bit on the brisk side w/air temp in the low 30's and winds steady at 15 w/gusts at 20 to 30 mph. Water temp started at 38 around 7AM and rose to a high of 47.4 around 2:30pm. Water clarity.........there was none ;D stained rust colored, bottom was muck with very little structure other then tons of laydowns and stumps littering the shoreline. Max depth that we could find was between 7 and 8' with an avrage depth of about 3.5. Froze our bearings off, but it was still nice to get the boat in the water, do some exploring for the up coming CAST FOR KIDS T next Sunday. We did managed a few keepers on jigs in the process but nothing caught worth posting pic's and now realizing our entry fee will be more of a donation than anything else! : Hoping this week of temps in the 50's wakes them up for the T.

Any recommendations? 1992 Tracker Pro 17. The qoute's I got from Progressive were; full coverage $327.00 per year with a $500.00 deductable and a $300,000 umbrella. Not sure I need that much on a boat this old, though @ $297.00 for basic liability w/$250 deductable and $100,000 umbrella I thought it might be worth going w/the $300,000 coverage for the few dollars more. Picked up a Fitts Insurance flyer @ BP yesturday and figured I get a qoute next week. Thanks in advance for your help!

Last year I tried out some spinner baits w/echips and loaded the boat 30 to 1 vs my co-pilot throwing the same spinnerbait w/o the Echip. It felt extremely unfair and wrong. Not that it wasn't fun, but after relizing how depressed my buddy was getting I retired that set-up for the evening. Ok here's the question: Are Echips allowed in tourny's?

I don't now Glass and only meet Tin for a few minutes not knowing who he was. I went with Tin for the win and me coming in a close 32nd! ;D

New Enland has a plethora of beautiful waterways! Yet IMO jet ski's, boat traffic shorelines filled with houses and marina's takes away from the attractiveness. Being isolated from the rat race corralled by the mountains Loons calling out, Bullfrogs the size of small pets, Eagles and Osprey diving for a meal, Moose wading the shoreline Humming birds buzzing about is what I seek and by far IMO Umbagog lake in Errol NH is our own little piece of heaven! 8-)

17lb Pline Halo no braid for me, just MPP yet I believe they recommend using 30 to 50lb braid, don't qoute me on that.No leader needed. I've been throwing Matt's stuff on a Kistler LTA 7' heavy rated to 1oz. Which is not ideal and stresses the rod a bit when loading. There is an avid swimbaiter who recommended this inexpensive set-up to me. I was trying to find a link on this site to order through but can't find this specific set-up , I guess it's TWH once again Dedicated for Matt lures and the new 6" Huddleston.
