  1. SAWEEEEEET! Thanks again!
  2. Thank RW! So then the answer to my question would be yes, and they are a custom made version of the original. If that is the case, were can I spend my money to get some?
  3. Is GMAN's Mop jig a custom take off of the Buckeye Mop jig? I love the idea of the original Mop jig, but the paint is weak, as is the cheap weed guard. Four hours in and the jig head only had paint left on the top and there were only 4 strands left on the weed guard : 8 hours later, two jig heads shinning with lead, and barley any strads left on the weed guards. >
  4. Went out yesterday and got nine LM. My buddy got 6 of them on jerkbaits and I got 3 on a 1/2oz jig. Water temps around 41. Another buddy of mine hit a MA pond on the South shore Monday and got a few on Jerk baits as well. Slow jerks with a 10 second pause. Good luck!
  5. Hit a local lake yesterday with Matt. On the water by 8am and off by 5pm. Air temp about 45 with water temp around 41. Light cold wind with clouds and some hail throughout the day. Not the biggest of fish but still great to finally be on the water and decent numbers for for March 12th. Best 5 fish went about 13lbs and the biggest fish of the day around 3lbs. Matt got 6LM on a few different pattern jerkbaits : I just hate jekbaits! ;D and I got 3 on a 1/2oz black blue Mop jig w/a crazy legs chigger as a trailer. Around 1pm a cold front moved in and the bite dissapeared.
  6. BTW....is there a way to embed videos from YouTube? Thanks, Paul
  7. Very nice LM! What were the water temps?
  8. Wondering how one becomes certified/authorized to do Shimano reel repair and maintenance? Thanks, Paul
  9. I only use 5 colors in soft plastics: Solid Black, Green Pumpkin, GP blue fleck, PB & J, Watermelon candy. The only hard baits I own are swimbaits: Shad or Herring patterns, Perch & Trout.
  10. Thanks for the advice people, very much appreciated! The Tackle Tamer it is. I wasn't aware it was that small. Thanks again.
  11. If you have all of Shimano's schematics then you could find the right one.... If you are looking at a schematic for a 2005 Chronarch CH100B you will see that the part number (BNT3235) is the side plate shaft, and it does exist. HOIST-N-HAWGS, if you look at the frame were the side plate lock is located and turn the plate slightly you will see a very small set screw that takes a very small millimeter hex wrench to fit it. I have had to replace many broken shafts and I had to make my own wrench because I couldn't find any small enough..Good Luck & Tight Lines!!!! aka The Reel Mechanic S.O.G.!!!!!!!!! :-/ That would be it David! Truly appreciate your assistance!
  12. Thanks for your effort DVT, very much appreciated. David is correct, I have the 2005 model.
  13. Another good idea! I'm thinking maybe even an insert for Spinner baits or this>>>
  14. Great idea, but I'm fishing out a 12 foot Jon, and looking for something that would fit into a XPS 360 bag. But, thanks for the great info.
  15. ;D Can't believe I didn't notice I spelt it like that! :
  16. Love #4
  17. Heck of a job!
  18. Trying to figure out how to remove the small threaded pin that holds the side plate shaft in, (part#3235). The shaft itself is broken and I need to replace it. Thaks for you help!
  19. ;D That would the "Women In Waders" 2010 Calender. My buddy passed it off to me before his wife saw it. : Being single has it's benefits sometimes.
  20. I pre-make all my leaders for C-rigs, but have yet to figure out a way to truly keep them neat and organized in my tackle box. Wondering what others are doing. Thanks, Paul
  21. Thank you gentlemen. I did a full scan of my compuetr and found a virus. Logged back in successfully w/o an issue.
  22. When I logged in today I received this message from BR...... ALERT!! Form Spoofing Detected coming from IP address: 68.9.87.159 Any advice? Thanks, Paul
  23. Thanks JF! There are times in life when I feel like a dumb arse, these would be one of those moments!
