  1. Oh yeah, I can't get notifications from BR because last year I lost my password, signed up with a new account but nobody will assist me with deleting the old account info and can't update to my new email until the old info is erased. I'll keep checking back in to see what's going on.
  2. I'm waiting to see if sleeplessweekends will be available. kids=Sports=waiting for his son's baseball schedule. I'm in either way, but I'll be taking my Jon w/8hp if sleepless can't make it. I'd be more than happy to take my gas grill, some burgers and buns. I'll probably fish it on the 1st just to re-familiarize myself with the waters.
  3. 3 outings, 2 keepers on 2 of them and a skunking Sunday. Looking to redeem ourselves Thursday. 70* 2nd week of March! YAAAH FRIGGIN WHOOOOOO!
  4. I might be interested in these, can you pm me the info? Thanks, Paul
  5. Looking forward to it! But please don't show up in that Bob's shirt!
  6. GMAN, wondering what the Bullet jig w/weed-guard are listed as on your site? They look like they could also stand in as a swim jig, would I be correct in that assumption? Thanks
  7. Second this vote! When tossing into any form of junk nothing smaller than 65lb. The 50lb broke on sticks as small as a 1/2" in diameter. Bumped up to the 65lb in brown and I absolutely love it! Open water application...6'-8' fluoro leader. Cast like a charm with lower noise than regular PP. Not silent, but most definitely quieter.
  8. Went out Thursday instead, my buddy caught 5 lake snakes on a perch JB, 4 of them in the 4-5lb range. I caught my 1st keeper LM's of 2012 drop shotting the Hammer Shad. Nothing huge but it was still enjoyable catching NE bass mid Feb. Back on topic, Dates? Times? Location of the get together?
  9. Glad to be involved. No club this year. Just fishing a few T's here and there, but mostly hunting BIG HAWGS! Lots of night fishing this season. Heading to the Cape Sunday
  10. I'll video it if I have to. 95% full reel... two complete 360* turns of the handle.

  12. Over looking my avatar, I'd be very interested. 14ft jon with an 8hp cuts it. Most likely an open seat as well.
  13. I was just re-spooling all my reels and it didn't seem like I was getting 30 inches on the E7. So, on the next E7 I measured out 30 inches of taut Dragon Call, one crank brought in about 15 inches, 2 cranks brought in the full 30. I repeated with filling bare spools with Super Slick 8 and got about the same results give or take a few inches with the E6's and E5, needing two revolutions of the reel handle to get the specs they claim.
  14. This is directly from Shimano's website.... "In terms of the amount of line retrieved per crank, the Chronarch E7 reels pull in 30-inches, the E6 reels pull in 27-inches, while the E5 reels are capable of 23-inches. After running some tests you actually have to crank the handle over twice to reach these specs with every model. Are Asian inches larger than US inches!
  15. I keep reading posts that the Curado E's and the new Chronarch E's are the same. I've fished the Curado's (4 of them) for 3 seasons. Bought one Chronarch E, liked it so much I bought 4 more. I respectfully disagree with them being the same reel. There are a few differences, the most noticeable is the Curado is much sloppier(loose free-spooling) than the new Chronarch's, not to mention the greater casting distance achieved with the Chronarch E's.
  16. YOU BASS-TURD! You could saved me a lot of time in the other thread!
  17. That's my church going garb! Believe it or not, I always seem to get the whole bench seat to myself.
