  1. Here ya go Tin....... http://www.gameandfishmag.com/fishing/bass-fishing/RA_0509_01/index.html
  2. along with the previous post. the anti reverse pawl might be clicking on the anti reverse ratchet. if so, give the thin ears on the pawl a gentle pinch so it provides enough friction to keep it from falling on the ratchet. a little bit of drag grease on the ratchet won't hurt either Thanks, but Anti reverse is working. At first I thought I installed yoke upside down, but thats not the case. It seems the spool shaft doesn't fully engage the pinion gear.
  3. Open it back up, but this time re-assemble it correctly! ;D Now why didn't I think of that? :-/
  4. Ok not done. Once back together it clicked and the spool doesn't move, but the handle does w/a clicking sound. Any suggestions? Thanks again.
  5. Thank you. Done w/one on two the next 3.
  6. Thank you 0119;) I saw that but don't try anything until I'm sure and I just found the intructions on TT. Thanks again! http://www.tackletour.net/TTForums/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=33976
  7. Is there a special tool needed to remove the right side plate? I've done the maintenance on my reels prior to buying the E series. For some reason or another after removing the 3 screws, handle, star drag nut etc, the plate won't come free, and the Roller clutch bearing is moving with the slide plate. The right side plate seems like it's still attached near the worm gear, but free everywhere else. ;)Thanks for your help.
  8. Which is good, considering 99% of the Bass I catch are all based in New England, and 99.9% are Bruins fans. When I get the Hat trick on it I'll postem up for ya!
  9. Thanks! Though nowhere near the quality paints of others on BR, it keeps me saine thoughout the winter months.
  10. All hand repaints; 9" Trout, Modified 5" Bleeding Shad Slammer, Hand carved Hawg Plucker, Chipmunk(Rago Rat), Perch BuzzJet. Gotta do something to get me throught the hard water!
  11. 5" Bleeding Shad Slammer(2nd down) The Hawg Plucker(3rd down) Chipmunk & the Perch BuzzJet. 8-)
  12. Darn! You have to scroll down to the "Countdown" timer and enter the date. I thought it would work with the link. So here it is.... 67 days, 22 hours,53 minutes ans 10 seconds :'(
  13. http://countdown.onlineclock.net/ left until Daylight savings begins ;D
  14. I can fully understand your reasoning. Personal preference for me and never leave home w/o my SB set-up. The RS has caught many fish over 4lbs for me this past season, and I have a very good feeling that the BBZ Jr will be catching a lot of SM hawgs this coming season, after seeing it's size and action in person. I'm not a huge fan of the Mini Slammer. The 7" 1x catches way more fish from 1-7lbs, including Smallmouth. There are also a few modifications that can be done to get more or less action of out of the slammer, depending on what the fish want. One of those modifications would definately be to swap out the original hooks and use Owner Stinger #41 or 42's.

  16. As stated above, it's tuf to beat Balde baits and jigging spoons this time of year. Keitech makes some great stuff! The baby spiders can be deadly in the heat of the summer. Don't over look their Swing Impact rigged on a Charlie Brewer's Slider head on 8-10# test fluoro. I prefer the 1/8oz, dead sticked and or barely crawled an inch at a time. It can be a deadly all year, but works extremely well in water temps in the 40-50 degree range as well. 4.2#'s of Brown :)12-5-09 8.2#'s of Green 11-17-09
  17. Heck of job! Congrats on the PB!
  18. Amazing pic's and trip! Congrats!
  19. Thanks gentlemen! Though the fishing since then hasn't seemed quite as exciting : ;D
  20. WHEN IT"S MY NEW PB I was supposed to hit Billington Sea today solo, but around 10:30 last night I decided to stay home and do some yard work. Woke up around 3am and did some house work. Around 5am this morning I had enough of that crap and decided to head out to a RI pond I had only fished once in about 20 years. Arrived at 7am, air temp 33* BRRRRRRRRR! Water temp was 49*. Started off working the slammer and got a quick slap but nothing to show for it. Switched over the Mission fish for the next 3 hours, pitching to rock in 10-15FOW. When I'd crank it back in at a fast clip I saw a few 3lbs chase it, but wouldn't take it. 11:00am, I'm now fishing 30fow w/a C-rigged the Swing Impact and pick up a 6" dink. 11:30 I switch over to the Impact rigged on a 3/16thoz Slider head, on 10lb P-line 100%Fluoro, set up on a 7' St Croix Premier M/L rated to 1/8-1/2oz and Sahara. I'm crawling it in 16fow over large boulders and get a d**n "Tic", you know the Perch type of hits. I go to rip it away from the scoundrel and the rod dbls over! I was scared sheetless that I was gonna lose whatever it was. I play her gingerly for about 4 minutes, just dying to see what it is................................................................... 8.2lbs of pure beauty!!!!!!!!!! I'm still shaking 6 hours later. She was 24 long by 17+ girth. It never ceases to amaze me how quick these moments go by, just way too FAST! Not the best of pic's but, after the battle, trying to weigh her, measuring and trying to keep her steady for the pic's, I wanted to get her back in the water to swim another day, and she did! She must of just eaten a few fish becuase her gut was completely distorted and lumpy as heck. She had the fatest neck I've ever seen! These pic's do her no justice what so ever. It's been a phenomenal year!
  21. 1st pic: came from the left shoreline just before the cove with the pumpkin patch. You can see the Pumpkin patch in the background over my right shoulder. There are several large boulders completely submerged in about 6 fow, right about where you see the rippled water meet the calm water, over the top of the dorsel fin. Don't remember where I got the sencond one. :-/
  22. Was there about 3 weeks ago and stuck-em pretty good on a pegged GP Blue fleck Crazy legs chigger, C-rigged Black Magnum Finesse worm and slow sink Rising Son in clear lake hitch.
