Turn your volume UP.
MAX torque listed as 660 Nm @ 6,500 rpm, top revs has to be at least 8,000 is my guess.

Pro staff question again
I have a few very close friends that are sponsored by Strike King, and Strike King is very good to them. Although they had a better attitude than basspro96 (sorry, but you can't "just quit"), I wouldn't ever completely rule it out. He said, "school has taken a priority." Yes, he CAN just quit. And rightfully so. Probably one of the more intelligent choices he could make.

Get a Grip
Why do you feel you need sponsorship to fish tournaments? It's not a necessity but boy when it comes to paying for tournaments a couple sponsors would be very nice. For example say your interested in being a co angler in FLW tour it costs 700 dollars to enter and thats not including lodging, gas and all the other little goodies you have to pay for. Now this is just my 2 cents but im pretty sure thats why Nate was looking for a few sponsors last year. But what the hell do i know I doubt he was looking to jump in to tournaments at that level. I know Nate, and if that was his thinking, I'd say its pretty foolish to expect that level of support this early. Just getting some "pro staffs" doesn't pay your entry fees. You earn your stripes, bro.

'Food' for thought or 'hey you bass, don't be so senstitive!'
By "the book," an inactive bass bites NO LURE, so therefore a slower presentation doesn't change things. What I'm suggesting is that it doesn't take a a fish eating a lure to develop a negative response. In other words, once (several times over their heads) not a positive feeding response, always not a positive feeding response, irrespective of feeding mode (inactive to active). It may explain all these, "I can't catch a whiff, on X bait, but can on Y all day," when you know it doesn't matter, they're almost identical. Consider that many of these guys are hitting small ponds, and beating the same 50 fish over their heads every day. I find that hitting my lunch break pond involves quite a bit of "evolution" in what I decide to throw.

Would you rather. . .
Am I only catching 9 lbs. of fish? Slam dunk - the 9.

'Food' for thought or 'hey you bass, don't be so senstitive!'
What about what a bass experiences when its in a negative feeding mode, or completely inactive? I mean, its one thing for it to get stuck by a poorly presented bait when its on a shad feeding rampage, but what about the 8 billion times a buzzbait was run over its head throughout the middle of a sunny day? Does that fish then learn to ignore a buzzbait when normally it would go crazy for it?

Hope you don't fish in the summer. That bedliner is going to be uncomfortable.

Jig vs double tail hula grub??
I think you'll find more use that plastic on a jig than not.

ANTI-spinning reel line twist theory....could it work??
Seems the simplest solution is a quality swivel.

Turn your volume UP.
I actually wondered about the SGB - you can hear it when it came into a corner. Racing trans. have come a long way. When I did driving classes, the cars didn't have synchros - double clutch every downshift. With your foot, LOL.

Turn your volume UP.
That's cool. Even if you get to see one on the street, they never get wound up like that. Nice to see them DRIVEN.

Fishing safety
That'll do it.

Rattletrap or Rattlin' Rapala?
That is one thing that can be said about the Raps is that you'll never have a problem with paint chipping. The hooks are also way better. Mine are from the early/mid 90s, so the hooks have been changed out several times, LOL.

Your state records
No, what's funny is that a Canadian record is held by some from an area where many believe the next WORLD record smallie will come from.
-
setting the hook/releasing the fish....as seen on the fishing shows
You don't rock them. Exhausted fish are simply supported upright, and they'll supply the gill movement to wash fresh, oxygenated water over their gills.

Rattletrap or Rattlin' Rapala?
I have caught a ton of fish on Rattlin' Rapalas. They have one of the more durable chrome finishes. Lasts longer than the two casts a BL original does. Anyway, I throw more Aruku Shads and D-7 for Weedcutter these days.

I just use the natural saline spray to unstuff it. Messy, but it works.

Blacks spots on bass
Black spots, like this? No one really knows. Some say its from handling, some say its melanoma, others say its a parasite.
