  1. My buddy has a Left Hand Viento that he uses for pitching. Since he pitches with his right hand, he doesn't have to switch grip, and he can engage the spool and take up the slack with the twitch bar.
  2. Recoils are nice if you fish in freezing temps.
  3. You got to bust out those triple beam scales and get some exact mass! They're mostly a suggested range. You should be able to tell when your outside the real range of the rod with just a few casts.
  4. Probably better to start a new thread for that.
  5. Just super glue the loose ones.
  6. Can you explain this please?? i bought some lake fork 1/2 oz weights at a local tackle shop that was going outta business for $2 and they have plastic inserts in them..Seemed like a good deal but i haven't used them yet and now am a little scared to. Will they fray the line or something? They fall out, and the potentially sharp edges they are supposed to shield can nick your line.
  7. he used to have a show, it was a joke.
  8. What's that? All tournament anglers are cheaters? LMAO. :
  9. A mutt with mange. That is pretty scary - yick.
  10. It does, you need to choose a size. :
  11. We can fix this.
  12. You don't need to carry here, its perfectly safe...no crime whatsoever.... :-X
  13. Southerners....commenting on "Buffalo Sauce." LOL. 1 Brick Philly Cream Cheese 1 Tbs Prepared Horseradish (the real stuff, I use Roller's) 6-8 shakes of Worcestershire Sauce (Lea & Perrin's preferred) 1 splash of milk Let the cream cheese sit out for a an hour or two to soften. Mix cream cheese, horseradish, milk, and W-sauce with a two tine carving fork. Test the dip with a potato chip. If it breaks, add another splash of milk, and gently mix.
  14. I hear you.....its frustrating. Digital Rights Management (DRM) says it the material not the storage device that you pay for. OK, why did I have to pay for my records twice?
  15. And get the hook out with what? Your toes?
  16. I had a similar scrape on a heavy, jig rod. I fished it for a year before it actually snapped in two. You never know...
  17. Can't, got a seminar in NYC the day before, and I don't think we have MLK Day off. Big Blue seldom recognizes national holidays. We got til May. The big spring push for normal steelhead starts early/mid April. But the banks are full of goons by then.
  18. Hitting the Salmon Jan 1. Let me know if you wanna tag along...
  19. Nice work!!!!!!! You been out for trout yet?
  20. David Yost lives in my area, and if you paddle it, chances are DY had a hand in its design, or its a copy. Anyway, if you think Rhino's canoe is beautiful (it is), you should see the hand made prototype hulls that are the basis for the canoes. David will actually take them out and paddle them in the water. Totally hand made, and never been done before. Pretty cool.

Chrome, chromers, metal, metalhead, cold steel, etc. all just nicknames for steelhead rainbow trout. If you're after chrome, then you're chroming. If its a holiday, then you're holiday chroming. 8-)
  22. They look nice. I'd rather the line tie be at a 90° with a ballhead, and can do without the weed guard. Zebes to contend with..... You make any in a 3/4 to 1-1/4 weight? In black? Pure destruction on pike up here.
