  1. We all used to carry around a baby food jar for cig butts. Now it only holds cut-offs. Don't ask what the pickle jar is for.
  2. Why not straight braid? 50# works for me.
  3. Inland waters are generally policed by sheriff boats. Talk to them about boating rules and safety.
  4. USCG state the law clearly. Just a white light. You wouldn't want to mistaken for a larger power boat. Nav lights are not only illegal, they are a bad idea in my opinion.
  5. Here is Noel Good's FB: https://m.facebook.com/thegoodstuffmaple
  6. Talk to @wnybassman Noel makes the good stuff.
  7. I haven't used 65 lb. braid in years. 50 lb. Gets the job done for me.

I do the same. It must be a floating worm. Technically, it's a "shaky head" but that's what gets you the quivering tail. Not real complicated.
  9. I will be looking them up
  10. Wargasm might be the greatest band name ever.
  11. Chinchilla!
  12. I started with jika rigs and then made my own 1 oz. Jika punch rigs. I have no use for a Tokyo rig. Seems like a fussy copy that does the same thing with way more expensive parts.
  13. I destroyed myself for three days on an upper body fiasco. Went back yesterday and it felt so good to dial it back just 5 lbs on all the machines. No pain no gain I guess.
  14. I have a Python Popmax that has caught more fish than almost all other lures in the past few years.
  15. Popmax
  16. That's the deal right there: can you tie it in the boat. I can barely get a good FG 60% of the time on my couch. a knot you tie well on the water is way better than the "best" knot.
  17. Hopkins Shorty is a go to up here.
  18. They got off the bank when most didn't. I say congrats on figuring something out, even if it seems wrong.
  19. That red thing on the back is the gas tank for the boat, @Fishing_Rod.
  20. I've had uni to uni connections fail. I've used a triple surgeon's knot with great results linking 8# leader to 10-15# braid. It's a very simple knot that holds well. Learned it when fly fishing.
  21. Meh, this why I only ever did team formats.
